This scaled-down-in-size electric dirt bike helps younger riders build confidence on dirt, while delivering top-notch performance true to larger models. Authentic features include MX-frame geometry, motocross-style knobby tires, twist-grip throttle and a high-torque, chain-driven electric motor that powers riders up to 8 mph (13 km/h) in the default High Speed Mode. Additionally, a high/low speed control switch allows parents to limit their child’s SX125 to a top speed of 5 mph (8 km/h) for younger riders and beginners. They say for ages 7 & up with weight limit of 110. My daughter is 8 & 46 lbs & it won’t pull her. She just got it Sunday for her bday & it already cuts out when riding & wont hold a charge. I did the initial 12 hr charge & now she’s lucky if she gets 10 minutes out of it. My son also has one he’s 5 & 34 lbs & has same issues. Junk i tell ya junk! 10/10 do not buy/recommend.
