A: Hello Jared K - We appreciate your interest for this item. The hanging holes at the back of the shelf are made for hanging it straight and not upside down. If you would like to hang it upside down, then you have to change the side of the hole at the back too. I hope it helps - Juliette.

Some imperfections, but cute once it's hung
The shelf is really cute now that it’s up, but there were some imperfections in the paint, and the hardware that came with it was junky. One drywall anchor stripped and the other split into a few pieces, so we had to use hardware we had at home to get it hung up. But now that it’s up I’m happy with how it looks.

This shelf is so cute! I love the rattan look. I realized that I hung the shelf upside down, but it works!! I’m sure it’s not going to hold things that are very heavy but the design is so cute that it can be empty and it’ll still look nice. It was very easy to hang, now I want to get more to complete the set.

This pink floating rattan Shelf is soo Girly and Adorable I love it! It’s not super heavy, it’s sturdy, and made well. I haven’t hung it up yet since it didn’t come with any hardware so I just set it on another shelf for the time being and it sits evenly. Definitely a great little shelf.
