According to a Target staff response, “There is not a way to turn the alarm sound off at this time. The alarm goes off after the light reaches peak brightness.”- Auria

A: Hi Emmy - Thank you for your interest in the Wake Up Light Rise with Wood Kids' Nightlight. The alarm goes off after the light reaches peak brightness. You can push down snooze from there. For night time you can set the timer and there is no alarm as the light dims over 15, 30, 45 min increments. We hope this helps! - Emma

More dislikes than likes.
I dislike that you can’t change the beeping to something calmer. The idea behind a wake like is to wake you up gently. The beeping is loud just like a traditional alarm clock. Dislike that you can’t change the light color. A natural sunlight isn’t a bright white. I like that you can press down on the top to turn it off.

short lived, malfunctioning after a year of use. has to constantly be plugged in (wish it worked with batteries) and frequently resets and the time has to be manually fixed everytime. randomly lights up and clock changes time.

Beeps when light comes on
It beeps with the ok to wake light!! You can’t turn off the beeping and still have the light come on in the morning. Nothing like accidentally waking your child when they are allowed to get up 😤. Also no battery back up so has to be reset every time you unplug or power flickers. The whole thing is white except the power cord which is black 🙄. Not an ok to wake clock for a toddler. Looks beautiful and easy to use. Would return but threw away the box. 😔

Handy little clock light
Kids love this clock/light in their room. It’s easy for them to program and I like that they can do it themselves. It is bright, however, so if you’re looking for a soft nightlight this isn’t it. We also like the touch light on/light off feature on the top.

Poor engineering
This alarm is as generic and poorly made just like everything else these days. I agree with other reviews that it looses track of time, cord is black while rest is design is white, horrifically loud, and there are no days of the week. It would be so much easier to set the alarm for Monday through Friday school days vs unplug this annoying piece and reset everytime you come into a new week.

Always beeps along with the light on
This is NOT a children’s okay to wake timer. It has a loud beeping noise that wakes up your kid along with a light. You CANNOT turn the beeping off. Returning.

BEEPING alarm
This is the cutest little clock to look at and I really wanted to like it. But ultimately, this product is very limited in its function and is not good for use in a kids room. They should make a 2.0 version with more granular controls. I was under the impression that it was more of an "ok to wake" situation with the sunrise light. Instead, there is a loud, beeping alarm that goes off when the light reaches peak brightness. There is no way to have JUST the sunrise light without the beeping, and there is no way to adjust the volume of the beep or change it to a different sound. And no, it's not a "gentle chirp" as some of the Q&A answers would suggest. It's a BEEP, and if you don't turn it off within 10 seconds it starts to beep even more. Horrible design for a toddler, who is the target audience. I still like the look of it and probably will keep it for the aesthetic but the actual functionality is really, really disappointing and I won't be able to use it how I wanted to.

Great night light bad alarm
This works really well as a night light and clock. But the alarm portion is terrible. One very loud beeping sound with no ability to adjust. I got it to help my older child wake up in the mornings for school but it ended up being too loud and jarring, scaring her and not setting a good tone for the mornings. Still use as a night light and clock but that's it.
