Q: Is the cushion cover removable ?

A: No, the main cover is not removeable. The bolster pillows will come off by simply sliding them off the bench legs, they are not permanently attached. They also tend to fall off.

MOLD MOLD MOLD
I NEVER leave reviews, however I thought I needed to leave this review as a public service announcement. This bench was COVERED IN MOLD. We were stating to attach the feet to it when I noticed white spots all over the bottom of the bench. It smelt like humidity and upon further inspection we realized it was indeed mold. I can’t believe target really sent me a moldy piece of furniture. The worst part is I opened it on top of my carpet and now I am freaking out trying to disinfect everything. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy this!!!!!

I am so happy I snagged this cute bench on major sale. It is such good quality, even better in person and was a breeze to assemble in maybe ten minutes. It fits at the end of a king size bed perfectly. Yes it does have a slight chemical odor right out of the box but it faded within an hour. CHEMICAL SMELL
Is this product beautiful? yes. Does it smell? also yes. The fumes from this piece of furniture are STRONG. It's been airiing out for over a day and the smell has not decreased at all. I've dealt with other pieces of furniture from Target and none have come close to this toxic death.

Loved this bench for tying our living room together. It was very easy to assemble and it’s a wonderful neutral piece that can match any design. The side cushions do sometimes tend to fall off as they are tied together by a Velcro band but it could also be due to “rough sitting” from my kids and dog.

Quality control issue
Saw this in store, it was perfect size for what I needed. It’s heavy and I didn’t want to haul it so I ordered it. Reviews say very easy to put together, and I would agree except one leg didn’t fit in the slot and the bolts wouldn’t thread. I finally figured out that one of the side slats on the bottom was too long by almost half an inch, preventing the leg from being put in. Luckily I have a miter saw and tools, so I unscrewed the 5 Philips screws holding it in and gave it a quick chop, preventing a return. The leg fit just fine after that. However at almost $200 I shouldn’t have to take it apart and use a saw to correct a quality control issue. Also it has a crappy chemical smell that will probably dissipate in a few days but I’m sure it’s formaldehyde or something carcinogenic.

Very srong off-gassing
I love the way this bench looks, but the off-gassing has been absolutely horrific. I noticed the strong chemical smell right out of the box, but assumed after a couple of weeks it would be gone like most new items. It’s been two months and it still smells so strong! We have it in our very open, vaulted ceiling dining room and have had the windows open every day and it smells up the entire house. We have set it outside for a couple of days, sprinkled it with baking soda and nothing has helped. The smell has lead to an increase in migraines for me and we cannot keep it. Had I known how awful the smell was going to be I would not have purchased. Very disappointed. If you are sensitive to chemical smells, steer clear of this one!
