so.. I like this brand. everything usually is pretty good. this one in particular was not my favorite I won't be buying it again. the sausage tastes very pork-y. un-seasoned pork is bad pork.. it was like a mouthful of imma vomit. the pasta and mushroom was delicious.

I've bought Rana pasta kits before with some really good, and others that were just decent, this one was horrible. The sauce was extremely bland and tasteless, and the sausage was terrible. I don't know what they used to make it, but it tasted like very poor quality meat. I finished one plate and threw the rest in the garbage. The smell actually started making feel nauseated the more I ate it.

Wish it had Italian sausage
I had the lasagna and enjoyed it so I gave this a try. Love the mushrooms, sauce and noodles and the sausage was okay. Not nasty just wasn't Italian sausage. That's the one thing that could have been better. This sausage is sorta plain. This is why it gets 4 stars.

Licorice taste
We didn’t like this simply because it tastes strongly of licorice which I assume is from the fennel in the sausage. If you like those flavors then you may like this. The sauce was a nice consistency and the noodles were just ok, not great. The mushrooms were earthy and there was plenty of sausage.
