Soft like satin, not usual velvet feel
Just got this for my daughter for Christmas and was confused by the reviews (some saying it’s soft and others saying no). So it is soft but not like the other weighted stuffies. It is soft like a satin fabric while the others are soft like velvet. My kid loves it and couldn’t care less about the distinction but can understand how could turn someone off. It is adorable too. Happy we got it.

My daughter loved it but I don't think it's the same quality as the other weighted stuffed animals target sells. the fabric feels thin and cheap, and you can feel the beads inside- probably wouldn't have bought it if I felt it in-store. I got it on sale, so I kept it but I definitely wouldn't for full price

I have no idea how there could be a bad review for this. It is incredibly soft (but not furry/fluffy). It’s more like a silky nylon feel. It’s incredibly comforting to hold. The perfect weight and size to squeeze if you’re anxious. My 14 year old loves holding it! Will definitely be buying more!

Body material see through and not soft
It’s cute I guess, but as others have said, it is not a soft texture on the body, but rather some kind of legging material. It is a see through white so you can also see the fluffing inside and it looks bad on the stomach. It’s for a 5 year old so I guess it may pass her standards, but I personally think the white velvet material typically used on these toys is way nicer and softer. I get the feeling this unicorn won’t last very long at all because one stain would be very visible and not come out easily. Honestly think I will return this and find something better. (The pikachu for my nephew came perfect and using that familiar soft velvety feel so it would be a shame to give my niece a subpar version).

I don’t normally write reviews but felt inclined to help other shoppers out with this one (if shopping online, as I did). If you are looking for a soft stuffy, this is not it. I can’t imagine why they would use the material they did for something that a child is supposed to cuddle. I am returning and bummed because it was on sale and is no longer. Had I known, I would have chosen one of the other animals that has a more plush feel.
