A: You’re supposed to remove the temporary black battery pack and add your own batteries.

Q: The packaging says it requires 2x3V (included) & 3 AA batteries (not included). The 3v is in its own black pack with a wire connecting it to the pack for the AA’s. But on that it says to unplug the 3V pack before use. So does it need both?
