Queen Tavor Industrial Metal Bed Black - Finch

It’s hard to leave much of a review of the actual product. When I received the package it was obvious before even opening it that there would be damage since the boxes were pretty beat up, and it looked like it was basically thrown into my front yard on a pallet. Upon opening the box with the head/foot boards there was significant damage to the headboard. That’s as far as I got since I knew I would be sending it back immediately. Besides the damage the big disappointment was that it is not at all black it is definitely a dark brown… maybe should be changed in the description.

First, shipping was delayed because the item was damaged before it arrived, so they returned it before it even got here. Then they shipped a new bed. Not a big deal, just slept on the floor for a bit longer. The new one arrived, and the box was slightly beat up, but it looked fine for the most part other than a small dent in the headboard. When assembling the bed, one of the poles for the headboard that inserted into the leg was slightly bent, so it would not slide in. I got out my tools and managed to reshape it so it would slide in. No big deal. Here's my problem. One of the plastic pieces was slightly cracked for one of the center support legs. It seemed to hold fine at first, but then I sat down on the bed - I'm a whopping 97 lbs btw - and the plastic piece snapped in two. Thus, the foot that screwed into the leg slid up inside the leg and was no longer touching the floor to support the bed. I pulled my tools back out and managed to shimmy the plastic piece lodged up inside the leg back out. I glued the two pieces back together and reassembled my bed. This held for about a month, then it broke again. Repeated the process all over again. It broke again, so I called up customer service. They wanted me to disassemble the entire bed and ship it back over a small plastic part. Not happening. I just need a new part. Finally, they said they would resolve the issue and work with the manufacturer to ship a new part. In the meantime, I've been sleeping on the floor. About a month goes by, no word or new part shipped. I call them back, and they say they'll look into it again. So now I guess I'll wait and see if they decide to fix it this time. It's a beautiful bed, it's just that one little plastic piece that seems faulty in the design. I'll update if they decide to send me a new part.

Very pleased with the bed. I thought it would be black but it’s more of a rustic dark brown other than that pretty simple to put together sturdy love it
