Zip top breaks every time!!
I always have been a huge fan of Up and Up plastic bags for many years — but these quart freezer bags are terrible!! Every time I freeze something and ope the bag, the zip top breaks and I have to cut the bag open. They are thin, flimsy and poor quality!

Leads to freezer burn
I have bought these and the gallon-sized equivalent multiple times in the last year. They are fine as TSA liquid baggies or other non-food storage, but everything I freeze in them gets freezer burn quickly. I’ll try name brand next time.

I used to love target’s Ziploc bags, however, when they change the outer packaging, they also made a change to the bags themselves. They no longer seal properly and even though they’re less expensive, you aren’t saving money if they don’t do what they’re supposed to do. Basically useless for protecting food
