  • A: Thank you for bringing this up. You’re right that dander isn’t created by what a cat eats. What Purina ONE LiveClear addresses is something different, the Fel d 1 allergen, which is a protein cats naturally produce in their saliva. When they groom, that protein gets transferred onto their hair and skin, and that’s what ends up on the dander people react to. LiveClear doesn’t change how much dander a cat has. Instead, the formula is shown to reduce the amount of active Fel d 1 allergen on the hair and dander by using a specific protein that safely neutralizes it. This means the dander is still present, but it carries significantly less of the allergen that typically triggers symptoms. Couldn't Be Happier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this food claiming to reduce allergens, but with 3 people in our household who are pretty allergic to cats, it seems that it's doing its job. I was actually able to go off the Claritin. We've had these 2 cats for about 2 months now. They are 8 months old. We started them on this food right away. Their original owner had them on a different food, but they had no problem switching to this food and liking it. Would highly recommend this for people who are allergic to cats and want them!

It really dose work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food has allowed us to keep our kitty. We had to combine households after a death in the family, and my mother is extremely allergic to cats, so we tried this food to see if we could make our situation work, and it has been a blessing. My mom has almost no allergy problems from the kitty, and my son is happy because he gets to keep his best friend. I recommend this food to everyone I talk to about kitty allergies but not wanting to get rid of a fur baby because of it!

Looking forward to less allergies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased my first bag of this food after doing some research on cat allergies. So far my cat seems to like the taste and doesn't appear upset with the switch in food. After many mornings waking up with itchy eyes and sneezing, I'm hoping for at least a reduction in severity after the next couple of weeks. If this helps my morning routine, I will definitely be buying more bags!

This product works well

And it seems to reduce her allergen-causing dander, so that we are not sneezing as much around her. It is pricey, but I get it at a big box store, to save money.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT

So to find this cat kibble that does reduce allergens has been a god send. It actually does help and all the cats love the taste. They gobble it down when I feed them in the morning. Unbelievable!

My sweet Baloo loves & I mean loves his new food. He was experiencing skin dryness & or irritation. So, I goggled food concerns & this one pop up. Today I will be purchasing his second bag & I will say his skin has improved. He also enjoys going outside with our dog and yes he comes back inside but Baloo no longer rolling in the dirt. Literally Baloo would find a sandy spot in the garden and roll scratching. There he be filthy 1st thing in the morning & late at night. It was crazy. Plus cleaning him. Now! He is happy camper
