Purely Inspired Organic Protein Powder Chocolate 1.5 lbs

Found these on sale and thought I’d give them a try. Chilled for 24 hours and was excited to try one. So disappointed! Chalky and bitter tasting! I’m giving 2 stars strictly based on 20g of protein. Will be donating the other 3 cartons.

I have used your product for many years it is the vanilla version and I'm very happy with it I'm a vegan I like eating organic foods and this is high in protein and low in sugar and carbs so I was happy to see that you had come up with a chocolate version and I ordered it and made it and could not swallow it tastes like I could imagine dirt would taste if it was mixed with some cocoa powder

Been using this for a few years now and will continue using. Flavor is good and it mixes well. No artificial sweeteners and quality ingredients at a reasonable price.

I have tried a number of protein shakes and most left a after taste that was unpleasant. This product tastes great while menjoying and leaves no after taste.

I have been through 5 so far and just think it’s the best protein I have every taken!!

Since switching to plant base, I have been taking this protein and love it. The taste is not like other protein powders and that what I like the most also very fulfilling. Only reason why it wasn't the 5 start is I wish it came in more then just 1.50lbs as I run thro one very fast I usually need to stock up on two at a time. Price is also not bad at all budget friendly for starters.

I last received a 2 lb size of your chocolate protein powder in Jan 2021. Flavor was OK but did have an aftertaste that was not good. I last received a 1.5 lb size in Feb 2021. Flavor was improved - still not the best chocolate I've tasted but better than the Jan 2 lb size. Does a change in your formula account for this change in taste, or do you use different formulas for different sizes of product?

I loved this product and was buying the Decadent Chocolate fairly regularly because it was one of the few chocolate nutritional shakes that tasted great. Unfortunately, since they have recently changed their look and taste, I find it very hard to enjoy. I have to make more potent fruit additions (unsweetened shredded coconut and strawberry mostly) to compensate for the grainy, "typical protein shake" taste. I understand the protein increased by 2g and the sugar decreased by 1g, but I am not sure it was worth it. Maybe they will try to improve.

I have been using this protein for at least a year for my morning breakfast shake and loved it. When they changed the formula it was definitely for the worst. The first formula caused some gas but I could tolerate it. This new formula blew me up with gas to the point I was miserable and can not use it any more. It blew me up with gas, I felt extremely bloated, burped and pooted all day. It took 2 gas-X twice and it did not seem to help with the bad gas. It was like I drank a gas bomb. I tried it for 3 more days just to make sure this was what caused it and it did. Once I eliminated it, I did not have the gas problem. The old formula had a wonderful chocolate taste and this one does not taste good to me. The chocolate taste is not near as good as the old formula, the taste doesn't even compare. I am very disappointed as this was part of my daily routine and am now having to look for a different protein that does not cause so much gas that it makes me miserable. The change was definitely for the worse! I went from being satisfied to being not satisfied at all. I would not recommend it to anyone now.
