It was easy to assemble/change the filter, and left my tap water tasting and smelling better than ever. There is no visible sediment after the water passes through the filter, either. Definitely don’t skip the initial 15sec rinse it suggests through the filter, otherwise you will get dark water. After the easy setup, the pur filter provides great tasting clean water! Only downside was the lack of a stable handle on it, the blue sleeve slipped easily and made it risky for pulling from the refrigerator.

That being said, the lack of a proper handle makes it so hard to hold when pouring if there’s more than half a pitcher of water. It gets too heavy when it’s full. The cartridge is effortlessly installed. It does have bits of black come out when water goes through it. That’s very unappealing. It doesn’t take too long to filter which means water is ready quickly. I like the look of the pitcher. It’s modern looking. I appreciate that stickers are included to let me know when I need to change the filter again.
