Q: Can you amend the description on the app? It includes the Pur plus filter in the description and it was the shorter filter that came with it. I think the questions mention it but it’s a bit disappointing when you’re trying to just drive up for pick up.

  • A: There is no light in this unit. It is completely plastic. I live alone, drink a ton of water each day and I change my filter about every 3 months.

  • A: Thank you for your inquiry. If your PUR Classic 30-Cup Dispenser is taking up to 2 hours to filter, first ensure the filter was properly prepared and flushed according to the instructions. Sometimes air bubbles or carbon particles can slow the flow. To help remedy this, we would first recommend removing the filter from your dispenser. Once removed, please hold the filter upside down at a slight angle and shake it for 5-6 seconds before returning it to the upright position.     It stopped working less than 24 hours after getting it home. Initially it filtered water quickly then produced no water overnight despite being full with a brand new filter. Wish I read the other reviews before purchasing.

I prefer distilled water for its flavor or lack of so I added a gallon of it to the dispenser and let it filter through and wow it definitely made the water taste better. I feel healthier knowing the water has been filtered while already distilled to catch anything that may have been missed. The flow is perfect it doesn't leak at all. The weight is something anybody can handle it's about the same as a gallon of it water and it's compact form fits perfectly in my refrigerator. Setup was a piece of cake!

    Delicious and cold at your fingertips

Much less refilling, much less waiting for my water to get cold. The filtration lasts for a good long while, it's slim and fits great into the fridge. It's easy setup and comes with a horseshoe tool that's stored at the bottom.

    PUR 30c water filter system

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always enjoy PUR products for water filtration and this 30 cup dispenser is great for everyday use. It slides into the refrigerator easily not taking up a ton of room. There products always last which is great for the overall value. Filters should be changed out about every two months. It’s easy to take out and clean here and there with one caveat, the spigot. This thing is not easily removed and cleaning it well can be a challenge. The directions reference a horseshoe shaped tool in the bottom of the tank but what is there is attached to the bottom and unable to be removed so I’m not sure why this is here or referenced. I have used thin scissors to release the tabs that allow the spigot to be removed. Once removed it cleans fairly easily. Overall I’m quite happy with this brand and this particular product.

    Pur classic 30 cup. No leaks! Just OE

    Love the size and that it fits our small fridge because of its narrow profile. Have used Pur brand for decades. It removes the chlorine taste of city water. **Shortly after using for about a month it was leaking…couldn’t figure out why, until…I realized about a week before my husband attempt to fill it (he was completely lifting out) he had pulled it via spigot. It didn’t show signs of leaking right away,so I didn’t put 2+2 together. Then I remembered the instructions mentioning removing a piece behind the spigot if you are washing in dishwasher.! Voila, that was it! He had dislodged the part!! I pushed it back down firmly and that fixed the problem. No leaks any more! Pic shows the part behind spigot

    Pür water filter tank not good

    It worked for the first 8 months. After that time it started leaking from the faucet/spigot, the design doesn't allow to open ot to replace the rubber or anything. I cleaned it very well to try to remove any small piece of something preventing the faucer to seal properly. It worked for 2 months, and now is jot working again, with the same leaking issue
