Unfortunately after I used this sunscreen, my cheeks got warm and red (I have rosacea by the way) and the next day my skin broke out. My skin is extremely sensitive and reactive with rosacea and I was excited to try this sunscreen but this simply isn’t for my skin. Really disappointed.

I've been an ardent sunscreen user for many years. Previously I used MD Solar Sciences-their products are terrific but expensive. Mail order only. Lots of silicone in the version I liked. There were so many great reviews for Prequel Sun Barrier I had to try it. Its lightweight, no white cast and not so slippery. And I love its available at big box stores. Bought 1...tried it and bought 3 more.

I have tried this about four times now and every time I used it, my skin reacted. With each trial, the reaction intensified. The last time I used it, my face (cheeks, especially, where I have Rosacea) became super red and my skin felt and looked irritated and inflamed. This very uncomfortable reaction is what compelled me to write this review. I am pairing this with other Prequel products, including the Multi-quench Serum and AM/PM Moisturizer. Cleary there is something in this sunscreen that is an irritant for those with very sensitive skin. It also gives a very oily look and doesn't absorb, so I had to use a tissue to gently absorb some excess. It has a little grittiness to it and I wish the coverage were better (more concealing). But it doesn't matter because I can't use it anyway due the reaction my skin has to it each time I tried it. This is money wasted for me. I like trying new products, especially those supposedly formulated for sensitive skin. Thankfully, I have Paula's tried and true tinted mineral sunscreen that works very well for me.

This is the best sun block I've ever used. Moisturizing with a slight tint and a lovely glow. Thanks, Prequel!

Nice feel but I'm more partial to tinted sunscreens so I don't have to use foundation. I do like it though but may not buy it again.

My favorite sunscreen! Take your time to rub it in for the white cast to go away but it leaves you feeling protected and moisturized.

I'm very picky about sunscreen and I love this one. I have a fair skin tone, so really only the super thick white sunscreens leave a cast on me. The slight tint is perfect, and most of all it doesn't make me break out. I like the small amount of shine it provides and it feels like skincare. It's a little pricey for me for daily sunsreen so I try to stock up while on sale!

Love this sunscreen. It is super absorbent and makes my skin glow. I have used it while doing sports as well and it holds up well.

Please don't ever get rid of this! I have bought this sunscreen 7 times in the last six months. I use sunscreen religiously, multiple times a day so my only complaint is that I wish this came in a bigger tube because I buy at least one a month...maybe closer to every two weeks. I used to switch between 3 or 4 sunscreens but I found myself going for this one more often than not. Full disclosure, I did NOT like the sunscreen the first time I tried it. I think the peachy hue threw me off a bit and I wasn't using the proper amount. But I decided to continue using it because I hate wasting $$ and I fell in love. I have pretty fair skin (43 y/o, combo/sensitive) and I do not wear foundation at all. It sits well on my skin, and gives the most amazing glow. I absolutely love the consistency of it. I have tried no less than ten Prequel products and this one is my FAVORITE. Along with the cleansing oil...that stuff is magical! I have nothing bad to say about any of the products. The skin utility gel is also awesome for the nights I use tretinoin. I smear a little in the creases of my nose, under my eyes and around my lips to prevent irritation. Again...please don't ever get rid of this amazing product.

If you’re actually using enough, don’t expect it to ever dry down. Just terrible under makeup if you can even get to the step that it’s not greasy enough to start makeup. May work if you have super dry skin, I have combo leaning dry and it’s still insanely slick.

I have been loving this product. I have dry skin and this provides such a beautiful glow. I will def repurchase!

I was looking for a mineral sunscreen with a slight tint, so I figured I'd try this one out. I'm almost through the tube, and I can confirm that it does a good job at protecting from sunburn. As a very fair-skinned girl, I wore it outside and even swimming multiple times with no burns! However, I do not like the feel of this sunscreen on my face. It feels very greasy and heavy to me, and it takes a while for it to sink in. I do not wear makeup so cannot speak to how it sits underneath it, but it will pill off toward the end of the day if I rub my skin at all. I think the added glow is a bit intense for me. I won't be repurchasing, but it does the job.

I’ve been using this face spf for about a month now, and I LOVE IT. No white cast on me, not greasy, and very hydrating for my dry skin. This is my new favorite mineral sunscreen, and believe me, I’ve tried a ton.

This is my new favorite sunscreen. The pink tint is fantastic and it goes on so silky. With SPF 50, I wear it everyday. My husband even uses it bc it goes on so smoothly over his beard! The price is just right.

i only use about two 1/3 of a pea size amount on my face and neck, i have pretty oily skin and acne this just turned me into a greaseball it feels lightweight and looks like i need to wash my face, just makes me look so gross might be better for dry skin

This is only good for no make up days. It peels under make up so bad.
