A waste
A blanket or a regular area rug would have been a million times better. The “grips” on the bottom do absolutely nothing, it constantly moved and caused our child to trip and became more of a hazard than anything. The texture collects lint, dust, etc like crazy. Overall this play mat is not worth the money, I regret buying this as it didn’t even last us a year (was bought in April). Don’t waste your time or money on this “play mat”

Soft and well made. It has little grippy things on the bottom so it doesn't slide around on the floor. It's padded enough that it pads our wood floor very nicely and is comfortable to sit on, but not so thick that it's a suffocation hazard, which is a worry for some other floor mats I've seen.

Not very cushioned
It’s fine. Definitely overpriced and overpromising on the thickness. It feels more like a polyester quilt or picnic blanket than a cushioned play mat. Two things are true though: the non-slip dots on the bottom actually do work really well and it is washable like a blanket. But the thickness is disappointing, especially if you’re looking to use on hard wood floors with a little kid. I ended up buying two 15mm fitness mats and laying this blanket on top and that felt much better.

This is a really perfect play mat. I got the circle and it's just the right size for some tummy time, or for the bigger kids to sit on to read or play legos when the floor feels too cold! The non slip bottom is really good on my wood floors so it doesnt bunch up at all :)
