The dark walnut brown stain finish applied to this frame gives it a dark but natural look complete with varied undertones throughout. The lighter tones show near the center of the frame face, slowly fading to darker tones toward the edges. This 2.5" wide moulding is constructed from solid Pine and showcases a vibrant finish. Q: What is the width of the frame face?

A: As an example, for the 8" x 10" matted frame, the viewing window measures 5" x 7". However, if the mat is removed, the viewing window measures 7.5" x 9.5" in an 8" x 10" frame, which is 0.25" shorter on each side than the photo due to the frame border lip. The overall measurements of the 8" x 10" size frame face are 12.5" x 14.5" measured from left to right and top to bottom.
