  • A: This is false for my store. We aren’t allowed to buy things while on the clock or hold things from customers on the day of a drop. My store puts everything the have on the floor. Our store manager is strict. The trucks delivering the pokemon items was delayed though. Target doesn’t limit items to customers. So most likely a scalpers got it. 👍🏼

Great jacket. Don't be bitter.....

The jacket itself is very nostalgic. Has a great feel and is not very heavy. I was able to walk into the store almost 2 weeks after the drop and seen a rack full of them. (I only grabbed 1.) Stock can’t keep up with the demand. Stop leaving bad reviews because you couldn’t obtain one. Just pay resale price and call it a day. Good luck.

Just checkup on a regular

I’m shocked… my target said they had one left in stock in my size for pickup and I full sent and bought it (a week after launch). They actually had it! Which… rare. I’ve noticed you have to check on stock daily around 8-10 am and your target may have some local stuff for pickup. I’ve gotten all four pokeball bags, the physduck hat, an eevee shirt, and all bodywell mists by just randomly checking what’s available. It’s annoying but you kind of avoid the crowd. Hope this helps whoever is reading! This is great quality too and looks way way better in person. The models did a horrible job here. This is a more masculine fit than unisex in my opinion. The cut is boxy as crap

Worth every penny.

Best starter jacket I've ever purchased. Camped out. Didn't have to but I did. I've never been to a release. I was thrilled that I was 3rd in line after waiting overnight. To all of you leaving one star reviews. Gotta be quicker than that. Don't be a hater. Do better.

I understand you want to create hype, get people on the store so they will buy other items but really you made this such a bad experience thats if it wasnt for pokemon items I wouldnt come into this place.

Must have been lucky

Was lucky enough to get one unfortunately not in my size but couldn’t pass it up. Lucky again when I went to a different location to find my actual size and it was the last one. Returned the one that didn’t fit me and now I have the right size. Kinda sucks they didn’t have a lot of these and allowed people to grab more than one but I’m fortunate enough to get one. If you can get one when or if it goes back in stock I would definitely grab one. Super cute!!

I was on the website at 7:58 ready to go. Put it in my cart cause I had a feeling they would sell out fast went to click to pay and was kicked out. Hopefully target takes this a learning experience and limit the next drop. Or just don’t do collabs you’re not prepared for. Also who is giving thumbs down to all the customers who had the same complaints.

I’ve gotten so many compliments on this jacket surprisingly from people that know nothing of pokemon! I think the retro look fascinates people. My store only got about 7 but I waited for hours and some lady tried to run from the back of the line push me and take it from me. If you needed it so bad why didn’t you show up earlier and wait like the rest of us? Everyone knew this was going to be a limited run. That’s how it goes nowadays. I’m just grateful the quality of this collection is actually top notch.

Awesome details!

I got this jacket by pure luck. The tickets for the jackets were claimed by the first few in line. I tried to buy online, but they were gone in a flash. I kept checking the app throughout the day and while I was shopping next door to my Target, the app showed my store had a small in stock. I ran over and it wasn’t there, but customer service confirmed one was on the floor. My son stayed on the aisle while I found a worker to look at merchandise that needed to be stocked. My son came running to me with jacket in hand when another stocker came to stock the aisle. My persistence in checking the app really paid off. It is a really neat piece.

pokemon jacket

I’m giving the jacket a 5, but Target gets a 1. The detail is great and me and my son love it, but the stock was way too limited. I actually got lucky in the store and found two, but I let one go because it wasn't my size. I wanted someone else to have it, but that was a mistake because now they are impossible to find! ​I wanted us to be matching, but resellers make it so hard for regular people. Target needs to limit how many people can buy because Pokémon is about bringing kids and adults together, not just making a business out of reselling. It’s disappointing that fans and kids miss out just so someone else can flip them for a profit.

Sad trainer

Went to 2 stores on 05/02 when they first opened and both did not stock. On 05/03 I had it in my cart at 8:01 and submitted payment then order cancelled because it was out of stock. Resellers and bots made all of this a terrible experience. Reminds me of the Labubu phase last year

Great jacket, just not enough in stock

This jacket is great. It has so many thoughtful details. Yes, it would have been nice to have more in stock. I went to my local target and at 7:15 they told us they had no merch at all except cups, so my son and I decided to go to another target 20 minutes from us, and by some weird luck were first in line, and were able to grab a size small. It made his day, and even though it is insanely too big for him, he still wears it with pride.
