Very heavy tea pot.
The tea pot was sooo heavy especially when it was filled with water. My wife was afraid to use it also the packaging had an unpleasant odor. The color was pretty though hence the two stars. I'm returning it to Target store.

Loved it for the 2 months it worked.
Sadly, I have to give this tea pot only 2 stars. I ordered the pink one and loved the look of it but it stopped working after just over 2 months so I could not possibly recommend this product. It was heavy when filled with water but I knew that when I ordered it since it is ceramic. The handle didn't get hot but the spout, lid and pot did get hot. When it was filled with water you really needed two hands to pour because it was heavy. You'd naturally want to put a finger under the spout to help with the weight but couldn't because it was hot. I'd just put a finger under it on the plastic piece to help with the weight and that worked. The lid was a little wiggly because of the design so I was always worried it would come off when pouring and break but it never did. Still made me a bit nervous every time I poured. Put some more work into figuring out how to make this kettle last and it's a real winner.

Plastic base and stand
Absolutely not. The base is a lightweight plastic and the bottom of the kettle is also plastic. The inside of the kettle has a metal plate in it and a metal rod on one side (inside). It's not worth even the sale price of $60! RETURNED immediately!

Bought last year as a gift, it gets used every time they do pour over coffee. The large amount it holds and the design was why it was purchased. Not a huge fan of the mint green, wish it came in other color options. Heats up water quickly.

Ok but I'd try a different brand next time
This is definitely a pretty Tea Kettle. It boils quickly. As far as noise it’s a bit Lou for a quiet office space, but not obnoxiously loud. The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because there is a weird after taste. I use bottled water but after boiling in the tea kettle it tastes very different. Also the kettle is ceramic so it doesn’t stay warm throughout the day you have to reheat it
