  • A: Wow those are some vague answers! Here's one that might actually help you: The adapter must plug into a DisplayPort SOURCE of video (e.g. your PC). You can then plug your video DISPLAY (TV, Monitor) into the back of the adapter. The DisplayPort end of the adapter must be plugged into the source of the video, and cannot be plugged into a monitor/TV.

Does not work connected to either the monitor or dock. I tried both ways. The monitor is brand new and worked perfectly when I used the cable from another monitor. Don’t waste your time or money on this.
