[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking everywhere to try to find the notes of this perfume and I couldn’t find anything so I honestly didn’t know what to expect but surprisingly I actually really liked it. The scent smells luxurious and a little musky, perfect for a night out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very unique cologne. It's got a lot of layers on it and changes throughout the day. It lasted a decent amount of time wish it was a little stronger at the end of the day but still enjoyed it. I get notes of tobacco, vanilla, spice, sweet, and musky. The sample was pathetic and only got to wear it 3x so kind of hard to judge it fully.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster sent me a generous spray tester vial of this sample; and the packaging is very dainty and thoughtful! I enjoy the illustrations on the paper packaging; and the juice itself is a beautiful deep crimson color, that reminds me of an old tincture or potion. I’ve heard fabulous things about Penhaligon’s fragrances, so I was excited to try. Before spraying on my skin, I tested this on a piece of paper. It’s a very heavy and sweet-leaning vanilla scent; while the vanilla persists, a smoky and mysterious incense note creeps in. The ambrette note is hidden with the incense, and I think all the notes (aside from the vanilla) are pretty well-blended, and push the vanilla into unisex territory. It does smell well-made and thoughtful, on paper. Unfortunately, on my skin, this smells like smoky Play-Doh. Vanilla does not agree with my body chemistry at the best of times, and the vanilla in this perfume seems to HATE me. I asked my boyfriend to smell me, and he also said I smelled like Play-Doh. It is a shame, because I think this could work for someone who does well with vanilla, but for me this scent is a scrubber, it gave me a bit of a headache.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This perfume has an intense smell that is loud at first spray and stays for maybe 10-15mins. After that i can Hardily smell it on my skin. I am more of floral, fruity, and sweet perfume girly so this was not for because it’s more earthy and dark.

The notes of the perfume are just unfortunatelynot for me. Its not necessarily bad, its just quite "powdery" in like a baby powder/matronly sort of way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that profile, ot just isnt my preference. If you like that type of scent, i would highly recommend this perfume!

It smells like a floral vanilla incense which I like but is a specific vibe. I feel like this scent belongs in New Orleans because of the mysterious vibes it gives off. You can tell this is a quality parfum even by the color. I don’t know if I like it enough to spend the asking price but it is lovely.

The perfume lasted a while so you don’t need to spray some on after a few hours. Would recommend to to people that like this type of scented perfumes.

Some websites showed it as gender neutral but other sites had it for sell specifically as a men’s product. When it came I gave it to the man in my life and told him to try it. I will say it wasn’t his style. It does smell more like a women’s perfume and has a resemblance to baby powder. Not bad, but not my choice of perfume.

I love this fragrance for its unique story of scent that appeals to the senses. It really is unique and makes a statement with notes of incense, forest and vanilla. I received so many compliments upon wearing it with many asking about the scent and where it could be purchased. I felt so luxurious and let the smell transport me above the everyday. I also enjoyed tge unique artwork presented on the card as it has a historical feeling to the characters present. The art gives this new fragrance almost a legacy whilst still in its youth. I hope to purchase more soon.

It has a vanilla and citrus scent to it that I really liked. It has a powerful scent to it but not too overly strong. It also lasted all day, which is fantastic. I received many compliments on this scent and I definitely like it.
