[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells great and I love the bottle design. Looks like an expensive brand of perfume just by the bottle it comes in. However, it is very nice and isn't over powering like some of the other brands I have used in the past.

It calls to mind the sensation of being at the opera, and the heady swirling intoxication of the many luxurious fragrances worn by the ladies all around me. Glorious. This is love for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Petra Eau De Parfum is a good quality I just am not a big fan of the scent. Its to overwhelming for me and just does not mix well with my body chemistry. It is just not a type of scent i like. I like the fresh scents clean and crisp light scents.

I’m sure my 50 year old mother will enjoy it though, and it doesn’t seem to cause or exacerbate headaches.

It was hard to even decipher what scent notes were present. Although it was definitely not for me it could be for someone else.

Its not overwhelming but it only takes a lil bit to smell good. It has a look elegance and high dollar. Its top of the line. Lasts all day.

This one now is added to my favorite list. Wonderful scent. Super attractive and charming. It doesn't last as long as other Penhaligon perfumes I have but I still give it five stars.for the beautiful scent. Well done.

Classy and yet unique, I get so many compliments on it. It calls to mind 1001 Arabian Nights. Makes me feel like a glamorous old time movie star. Perfect for date night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gelot this parfum a few weeks ago. It does smell so good and got many compliments. But I did have to reapply it after 4 hours. So it does not last all day. But it does smell good enough to refresh if needed.

I let my husband’s reaction dictate whether or not I keep a scent in my rotation by the way he reacts towards me or compliments me directly by mentioning the scent I am wearing that particular day. After having worn this scent on several different days he has never commented on my wearing a new scent. Even I am not enthusiastic about the scent, but gave it try for about a month. After explaining to my husband about this perfume he just seemed underwhelmed. Therefore, I don’t foresee myself wearing this perfume again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing bad to say about the scent, it just has more of a citrus smell than I prefer. I generally lean towards sweeter fragrances so this doesn't quite hit my... sweet spot... :| Again, no complaints. The smell isn't unpleasant, just not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Reviewing perfumes is hard because, just because I don’t like the scent doesn’t mean somebody else wouldn’t like it or that wouldn’t smell better on somebody else. So for me, I didn’t like the scent or my body makes the scent smell strong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This as my wife call it a very manly scent. You don't need a lot because its strong. Trust me a little goes a long way. It has a subtle hint of citrus that tends to tone it down a little. I can also smell a woodsy vanilla type of scent. The scents I am smelling I don't get why it's so strong. It seems like it would be a light scent. It lasts all day without having to be reapplied at all. I don't think either I or my wife will use. It's not bad it just doesn't go with our natural scent.

Penhaligon's - Petra Eau de Parfum As the day goes on and the scent acclimates with my skin I smell the Top notes are Green Tea, Fennel and Bergamot; middle notes are Licorice, Myrrh, Olibanum and Rosemary; base notes are Benzoin, Vanilla and Woody Notes With every whiff of my wrist I’m drawn into a scent driven journey.
