HORRIBLE FOR HAMSTERS

Hamsters require an enclosure of at least 100 cm x 50 cm. Plastic tubes have poor ventilation, and they need at minimum 8" of bedding to burrow. Getting this for your hamster is akin to animal abuse. Shame on anyone who sells this and claims it to be safe and fun.

PawHut 5 Tier Cage- Avoid

Looks great in the pictures, but after only 4 months my gerbil has chewed through all of the ladders, lofts, and the “house”. The plastic is very thin, plus the bedding is easily pushed out on onto my floor.

huge design flaw that you can see from the picture (not that i noticed until i put it together). how the heck is the hamster supposed to get out the tube on the top?!? super plastic amd cheap material. the bars bend very easily.

Love!

So it was very hard to assemble. The parts were hard to put together, and the instructions weren't very good. After I finished putting it together I loved how it looks. It's big and a lot of room for my hamster to run around in. She loves it!! It's a little difficult to clean, but other wise I like it a lot.

Good purchase

My daughter aboslutely loves this cage, she is 10 years old and put the cage together by herself. I am not a fan of the tubes coming in two pieces and having to put them together. Over all the animal loves the new cage! Great purchase, far price and shipping took 3 days not including the weekend.

Great for Syrian hamster.

Cage was easy to put together. I saw reviews that said it took 2 hrs... it took me maybe 30 minutes... the only thing you need to make sure to do is use some needle nose pliers on the end connections to tighten them. Just like you would with ANY cage. Everything is tight and sturdy. The instructions are lacking, but there's a picture. Combine this picture with common sense and you have a great cage for a hamster. This cage is great, and the company was even better.

Loving the changing around.

I love this cage, it was to big for my dwarf, but my Siberian loves it. As long as she doesn't out grow the tunnels. And I remodel the accessories all the time,I love changing it around for Penellopee...?

Good value

Not sure of the people putting this together that struggled. Yes it takes time and patience. Don¡¯t start doing it if you have to be somewhere in 30 minutes. It¡¯s an amazing cage for the price and looks great too.

Good for a small/dwarf hamster

I have a dwarf hamster and this was perfect for her. Will be upgrading her to a larger tank so she has more run-around space, but this is perfect until I can build that for her!

Great deal for the price

It's not the worlds most expensive hamster cage, and as long as you don't expect perfection, this is an awesome cage for your little buddy. Our Hammy (and daughter) absolutely love it. Would recommend for sure.

Large enough but terrible to assemble

Took me 3 hours to put together. Each piece of the tube is in half. It's very frustrating. BUT we love it now.

Secure and Houdini proof

Best critter cage we¡¯ve ever had!We had a Houdini hamster who was finding ways out of the Critter Trail cage every night. Even after we would duct tape the likely spots!So we searched and found this cage. It¡¯s a fabulous mix of space for him to roam and get some tube time, without any gaps or loose caps for him to dislodge.It even kept him protected when the resident cat knocked over the cage attempting to get in.
