Lemon Flavor is Overwhelming and has an Unnatural Taste

I've purchased Pamela's other products in the past & found none of them to be disappointing. This lemon shortbread cookie, however, is not quite what I expected. The lemon is too much & it doesn't taste like the real thing.

Best Lemon GF cookie .

My favorite cookie. The lemon is strong. I love them with vanilla ice cream. I think I will to make a lemon pudding and use this cookie as a crust.

Many of the cookies were broken. I know gluten free cookies are fragile but they needed to be packed better.

Cookies great, packaging not so great.

The company is apparently having a box and adhesive problem. Boxes are too large, resulting in breakage during shipping. Previous boxes were much better at keeping the cookies whole. I hope the people in charge of adhesive can adjust to reduce the amount of adhesive used, making it easier for the customer to open the box without tearing it apart. The product is still great!

Expensive. Not much taste.

You get only 10 cookies in a BIG box with a plastic tray. The cookies have a shortbread texture with the GF "grit." There is an underlying flavor of butter. The lemon is quite sharp, and is the flavor remaining in your mouth after you eat one. I like many of the Pamela's products (cornbread, flour), but I cannot recommend this one.
