Expired food still on the shelves
The shopper did not check the dates on the product and the both containers of bone broth were expired!!! One expired 4/2026 and the other expired in 7/2026. Doesn’t anyone at the store check expiration dates on the products. This will be the last time I buy groceries from Target!! Now I have to take time out of my day to return it.

This tasted horrible. It tasted burnt and bitter, and even after I added a little salt it was still completely undrinkable. I bought it because I have to be on a liquid diet for a day and I thought this would be a good way to at least get some protein, but there was absolutely no way I could make myself drink this.

Flavor is awful
This is not a good sipping bone broth.. there is no savory broth flavor at all. Almost tastes like a bitter dirty water. Very disappointing and would not recommend. It’s also not cloudy like other bone broths I have tried in the past (such as the simple truth organic chicken bone broth)

Awful!!!
Yuck! This bone broth is really disgusting. I have tried others, and made my own and it has never tasted like this. This is bland bitter and has an awful smell.

Absolutely horrible, bitter
Nothing like homemade bone broth. This was extremely bitter and absolutely horrible. Should have tasted it before I added my chicken and gf noodles. What a waste.

Pacific yuck!
Absolutely no flavor. Used for soup. Figured you couldn’t really screw up broth, but I was wrong. Had to use a ton of Better Than Bouillon to make it edible!!

Horrible. Dumped It.
It says perfect for sipping. I had an upset stomach and couldn’t eat anything. Thought it’d be the perfect time for this…I was wrong. So gross tasting, was not at all what I expected. Definitely don’t recommend. I love their canned chx soup with rice though.

I love adding this to my recipes! It adds a wonderful flavor to the recipes, the ingredients are clean and healthy. You can sip it on its own or use it to enhance the flavor and protein content of recipes that call for water or broth! The packaging makes it easy to use and easy to store after opening!

Very strong burnt flavor
Since I wasn’t feeling well, I thought having some bone broth would be a soothing option to get a little something in my stomach. This ticked off all the boxes I needed: gluten-free, organic, decent protein count. However, the taste was very off-putting, almost like it had been burnt. And I know it wasn’t from cooking it myself because I was very cautious to only let it get to a very low simmer since I didn’t want to have to wait too long to drink it. It smelled okay to me, but the taste was just wrong. Not at all the comfort food I was looking for.

This was absolutely disgusting. No matter how hard I tried drinking this I just couldn’t and I drink unpleasant things often. This one I just couldn’t do. I’m not sure what it is but it’s bitter and nasty. Maybe it’s the one I got! I’m not sure.
