Beautiful Swing!

I love this swing! The only con I have is the cupholders aren’t quite big enough for some cups. But the swing is beautiful and makes my front porch so homey.

To swing or not to swing?

The item arrived damaged in 2 places that will need putty and sanded. The “brown” color was orange. I plan to remove the finish and stain it. Assembly took 3 hours because the parts were not easily identifiable and I had some arm pieces on wrong. The seat and back also looked the same, but not. None of the wood pieces have a letter to distinguish it from another. I snapped a picture of the parts list, so good luck. You will need it. The included chains do seem heavy duty and the wood had a nice aroma of cedar. Overall if I could have fit a assembled unit in my car at another store, I would not have purchased this. Sorry. This was a headache to assemble and killed my back.

I searched the internet... looking for the perfect swing with the perfect look for the porch on our Victorian house. This swing fit my needs perfectly. It looks great, is well made, is sturdy, swings perfectly and is comfortable... especially nice with a cushion. I love it!

Quality is aswesome!

Swing was easy to assemble. Looks better than I expected - to the point that I ordered the second swing to give a neighbor. My neighbor was most pleasantlly surprised and liked the swing. They are up and make a nice statement to our yards. I'm sure we will enjoy them for many years.

Will need reinforcement. And a handyman.

Several slats came loose in shipping so I bought longer construction screws, #7x2", replacing the smaller, shorter factory ones, using outdoor wood glue on the loose ones. Adding an extra 1x4 on the back and bottom (just to be sure!). Sure it was a pain, but a plastic wood swing would've cost nearly $450. And the cup holders are nice. Good thickness on the wood. The cost at the lumberyard plus plans would've be what this cost, so I'm happy. ?

Just over a month now, it looks great. Probably too much sunlight might fade the original stain. I am planning to put a cover when not used. It looks great and sturdy. We as a family love it.

Nice and sturdy! Only complaint is that it had dents with small pieces of wood missing that had been painted over. Thankfully they were in places the eye would not see. Would buy again for price.

Put together quickly. Beautiful swing. Very happy with it. Comfortable to sit in. Built sturdy too. Lots of compliments on it being hung on my front porch.? Bought extra hardware and springs to help hang it. Those worked out well too. Love this swing. So glad I bought it!

We purchased this swing as an anniversary gift to ourselves because we enjoy sitting in the yard with the family. We had another swing that came with its own frame before this that we were able to reuse even though the swing part that had been done in a canvas material for the seat had deteriorated from wear, the frame which was made of metal, was still strong so we were able to adapt the new swing to fit into the same frame without a problem. We want a fresh experience, and love this swing!

The wood could meet my husband's demands.

My husband, who worked as a union carpenter and a construction superintendent, LOVED this swing and the craftsmanship. He felt the materials, hardware, and overall construction were of high quality. It is very comfortable.
