Disappointing, needs a redesign
This pergola is nice on sunny days, however when it rains, puddles form on the canvas and does not drain. The Velcro ties are barely sewn on and you can see they sewed additional Velcro to make it fit the buckle. Poor design. It took about 3 hours for 2 people to put together and taking it apart seems like a daunting task. I wanted to return this but didn’t have the energy or patience to take it all down. I do not recommend this.

Looks good, horrible instructions.
Looks great when you finally get to set it up. Instructions are horrible and incomplete on how to assemble. You need 3-4 people to help. Legs in the back are extremely longer than the front ones, this is when you need 3-4 people to stretch it out for it to stand. Very light weight, definitely need something to weigh it down. But like I mentioned it looks great at the end just the instructions are horrible.

Very well made
Our patio faces West which means we get brutal afternoon/evening sun and in South Texas, that's not good. To give shade we bought this patio cover and are thrilled with it so far. What sold us was the special drop down end because it keeps the setting sun out. Lots of screws-washers-bolts but the directions made sense. Give yourself plenty of time and believe them when they say it will take 2-4 people for some stages of the build although, we are 2 people and we got it done. Each of the legs is in a large bucket filled with sand to keep the cover in place during our regular breezy days. My concern is how to get a replacement canopy because it will eventually be needed but that's a long way off. I would buy it again.
