Pretty good soak
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought Onyx Professional products for some time and was excited to try this soak off. My daughters and I have all used it for gel and gel x nails. You can appreciate the coconut, but it only slightly cuts the strong acetone smell. There’s really nothing that can be done about that, and it’s ok. It works decently well and didn’t require extraordinary effort. My only complaint is that I did feel like my nails were dry when finished and peeled a bit. Hard to say if that was from the product or not. I have almost finished the bottle and I would repurchase.

Great at taking polish off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This works great when you’re trying to takeoff gel polish! I always have a hard time taking off gel polish and this soak off makes it so easy for it to come off. What I do is I get a bowl and some of the solution and I set my fingers in there for 15 minutes and it makes it soft and pliable to where the gel can just come off. I do feel like you shouldn’t do this often because it does make my nails a little bit brittle. I feel like if you’re doing this every so often and then it’s OK to use. Overall, it’s a great tool to take takeoff gel or nail polish. The smell is a little strong so I would be in a well ventilated area that way the fumes don’t go to your head.

The remover helped take off all the gel polish without extra work to ensure it was all removed. No residual tinting left on my skin or nails. Didn’t dry out my fingers and I was able to just sit and let it work. Now my nails are ready for my carnival designs. I’m excited to try a few different designs knowing how easy it will be to remove my gel polish.

I would recommend it. I have used this brand several times before and it is my go to. I like that. It also helps to remove acrylic nails.

It did take about 10 to 15 minutes to soak my nails for them some more seamlessly come off, but even after a few minutes, I could see where the glue was starting to deteriorate. It does have a strong acetone scent like other nail polish removers and I would recommend using in a well Ventilated area.

I do think it took about the amount of time It said it was so 15 minutes. The smell is a little strong so makes you do it in an open area or with a fan near you. Good product but soaking is not for me
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is definitely a product that does what it says it will. However, who has time to sit and soak their nails when they aren’t at a salon? Not most of us. I haven’t tried this on gel nail polish (mainly for that reason - I’d rather leave it to the professionals) but my kids get curious about polish and once in awhile ask me to do their nails. Naturally, one quickly gets over this idea and wants it off. This did the job for the most part - polish came off on the main nails but got stuck in the corners. For my other child who left it on, it wasn’t quite as easy to get off. After sitting on the nails for 10 days, it was tougher to get the polish off. The polish was conveniently blue so it left streaks mild discoloration on the nails and fingers. But that’s what I get for using blue nail polish 🤷🏻♀️ otherwise it came off fairly quickly and easily. Decent product, especially for the price

It’s also good to use a little after some nail TLC to dry out the plate to reapply polish. Would deff buy again.

However, even though it is enriched with Vitamin E and grapeseed oil, I do not notice a difference in hydration compared to other regular nail polish removers. It still dries out your nails and hands, so make sure you apply enough moisturizer after using the nail polish remover.
