Q: The instructions refer to a gray cable, but there is none and the cable there is attached to the pump which is supposed to be underwater. Help.

Dont Recommend!
Had this fountain for a little over a month and it just now randomly stopped working. Can’t for the life of me figure out what’s wrong with it. Online support said it’s just broke and can’t be fixed ( how helpful that is). Very happy I didn’t pay full price for it! Should have lasted a lot longer especially for the original price they’re wanting. DON’T RECOMMEND!!

runs well, truly silent
I'm giving this fountain 4 stars because it is working perfectly and is truly silent, which was a concern of ours, but unfortunately our cat will not use it. It has been running silently and perfectly for almost two weeks now but my cat still refuses to drink out of it. I don't blame the fountain, but I am surprised he is unwilling to even try. He is an old cat and has never had a fountain or anything like it before, so maybe the "you can't each an old dog new tricks" applies to this. Still I would recommend the fountain to anyone with cats to at least give it a try. Since we can't return ours I will be giving it away to a friend to see if their cat likes it.
