Q: Can this be used outdoors?
A: Thank you for your question.This feeder is not waterproof and is primarily designed for indoor use. For semi-outdoor applications, it can only be placed in a covered, enclosed area like a porch, where it is protected from rain and moisture. Please ensure the feeder is positioned more than 30 cm from the wall to prevent water splashes. We strongly recommend using the feeder indoors for optimal performance and safety. It operates on a default power adapter, with a backup option for 3*D-cell batteries（battery not included in our package） to maintain operation during power outages.

Q: Can this be set to feed at a certain time of day? Dispense food at 6pm and only 6pm?
A: Yes, this automatic feeder can be set to dispense food at specific times. You can schedule 1 to 6 meals( set from 1 to 6 specific times) per day, with each meal from 1 to 12 portions (6 grams per portion). To set it for 6 PM only, you would set only one meal slot for that time to dispense pet food

Q: Can you pick the portion amount?
A: Hi, thank you for your question.It has fixed portion size: each portion = 6g (non-adjustable, like pre-set coffee pods).But you can set how many portions for a meal. Setting portion counts per meal (e.g., 2 portions = 12g). Max 12 portions ((72g) ) per meal & max 6 meals per day.
