  • A: I’ve had a few of these for 5-8 years now and the only way to make them last is to maintain them. Clean the pump tops regularly and to clear them of clogged soap, take off the pump, immerse it in water, pump it several times until it runs clear, and then replace it.

Q: I've had to buy 2 of these because after a week it only put out little bubbles. Returned one, got the other & same thing. Have to rinse it every other use. It's like plastic tubing is taking in air. It's not usable! Don't know the fix..

    Think Twice Before Purchase

    These soap dispensers are adorable, but the quality is absolutely not. I originally bought two, one for our downstairs half‑bathroom and one for our upstairs guest bathroom, and they matched the theme perfectly. They worked so well at first that I decided to buy a third. For context, the first two were purchased pre‑tariffs at around $10 each, so I didn’t mind paying $14 for the later one after tariffs kicked in. But as soon as we started using that third dispenser, months after the first two had been placed, the original two suddenly stopped pumping soap altogether. We tried everything from adjusting the pump, holding it upside down, trimming the tube because it looked like it might be sitting too close to the bottom of the glass, but nothing worked. Then we noticed the leaking around the center of the pump, where soap began to build up and eventually rust formed. And from what I can tell, the soap that’s gunking up is the same soap that’s supposed to come out, so it’s literally wasting product. And we buy our soap from Bath & Body Works, so wasting it is a hard no. On top of that, when soap does manage to come out, it’s discolored because it’s passing through rust on the way out. So essentially, we were washing our hands with rust‑infused soap. That led to skin irritation for me, because my skin reacts to everything and will flare up at the slightest inconvenience.

    I love love love.... but then....

    I've bought several hoping for change...3 out of 4 of these quit pumping and won't work. I use it for hand soap and another for dish soap. I absolutely love the glass design and there's none other out there with the pump nozzle faced downward which i love!! Just so disappointing that it stops working after a month.

    Do not buy these. They are a beautiful design with the dispensing tube separate from the push pump but it appears to have created a design flaw. I have bought 5, returned two and having issues with a third. They have worked initially but now I have to push the 3 or 4 times to draw soap into the tube. I’m going to return all of them and get the more traditional all in one pump and dispenser.
