Love the small amt of space needed to mount
I actually have two different mounts on either side of steering wheel and what I love about the Snap Car Mount is the small amt of space needed to mount it.

An excellent mount
This car mount comes with an adhesive side that has been very high quality. The magnet is also quite strong. I used this without the OhSnap and it was perfect for my magsafe case.Now using the OhSnap it is still pretty strong and holds great. Great build quality

Amazing
I love it in every way..., that is until I bought the grip 5. For some reason they do not cooperate like it would with the 4. I’m sire it has to do with the magnet placing but it is just a let down. If you have this mount DO NOT upgrade to a grip 5.

Waste of money
I'd rather just mount the Qi2 charger directly to the dashboard than use this mount. It holds the phone too far away from the dash and makes the phone more susceptible to being knocked off the dash. I wish I hadn't bought it.

This is so easy to transfer to different phones without re-gluing; it just snaps into place, and the car holder works perfectly.

Not stinky enough
The magnetic part works great, But the 3mm tape that glues to base to my dashboard keeps on coming off and my phone ends up going flying mid drive, Besides for that i really do like this product.

Does NOT WORK with Snap Grip 4
I've been using this car mount for a couple of years with the Snap Grip 4, I just now received the Snap Grip 5 and unfortunately the magnets do not align and the mount doe snot hold my iphone.

It stuck like it should.
Strong mount (so far, it’s only been attached for about 1 week). I’m curious to see how long the adhesive will last. Thankful they packed an extra adhesive pad in the packaging.

Wouldn’t stick to my dash
My dash has a bit of a texture to it so the provided adhesive doesn’t bond well. I’m going to get a different adhesive that’ll hopefully bond better. Otherwise the magnet/product is solid!

Adhesive update
I have purchased two of these and both did not stick to two different vehicle dashboards. I don’t think the surface area is adequate the way you send it. I purchased a larger 3m adhesive and it works in both vehicles.

I recently upgraded the radio in my truck, but in doing so made my vent mounted magnetic phone holder unusable. So I was looking for a solution and remembered how nice my ohsnap desk stand is. So I ordered the vehicle version and hoped it would work decently, and it did! The 3M tape that is used is super strong and holds up to the Alaskan winters with stupid cold weather!! The magnets are strong enough to hold up to driving on our terrible roads, but not so strong that you can't remove it fairly easily!Overall a great phone mount and definitely worth the purchase! And thanks to ohsnap for always making banger products!!

Worked until the new Snap Grip 5
I have had the Car Mount for a couple of years and have used it with my previous Snap Grips with no issues. I decided to upgrade to the Snap Grip 5 and now the Car Mount no longer works with the Snap Grip 5... Go figure! I sent support an email and will see how they respond but if their products don't work with newer versions of other products I have no desire to be in the OhSnap Ecosystem at all whatsoever!Extremely Disappointed!!!

Absolutely love the strength and convenience of this car mount.
We've had cheap vent mounted ones before but they suck and break the vents and don't stay in place. I love the magnetic function.
