Description
The OHK48FB-E Black Frame-only overhead rack offers a better way to store items in your garage. It’s designed to let you add a plywood platform (plywood not included). Use a sheet that’s at least 1/2 inch thick. For a custom look, choose a higher-end plywood.
The frame fits a 4 ft. x 8 ft. sheet, or for easier installation, two 4 ft. x 4 ft. sheets. Plywood provides a smooth surface—great for sliding plastic storage totes and storing oddly shaped items like strollers, chainsaws, or even Halloween decorations.
The OHK series also includes accessory hooks on the vertical posts, perfect for hanging items instead of placing them on the platform.

So convenient and simple
Very strong and incredibly convenient for storing the stuff accumulated after 20 years in my home. I am extatic to have a clean garage again. I added a couple of crossmembers for lateral support due to the height of my ceilings.

Not as sturdy as expected.
The shelves after installing are not as sturdy as I would expect. Especially the center mounts where drywall anchors were required. Not sure how long they’ll last with stuff on them.

Overhead Shelving
The overhead shelving was easy to install and they seem very durable. Supposedly, they hold up to 750 lbs and I have about 500 lbs on the shelve with no issues. Best of all, they were very affordable. Looking to add more shelving to your garage, I would seriously consider these shelves.
