Oatey Access Panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed an access panel over my kitchen sink for my tub drain upstairs. I could not find any panels that would fit the hole in my drywall, even if i cut the whole bigger. I used this panel, which was much bigger than i needed so i could modify it to fit. It is a nice panel it is really strong for how big it is. It held up to the assault of me cutting both length and width. I had no problem cleaning it when i was done. I wish i would have painted it beforehand. The only problem i have with it is that it has no screw hole or any sort of clamping system. I'm not sure how the company thinks you are suppose to secure the panel. This Panel needs screw holes with plastic dowels. This can be surface or flush mounted, so i used the indent for the the surface mount so as to not interfere with the clips that snap in. FYI do not modify the access panel to fit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This access panel is perfect. I remodeled my bathroom and replaced my old access panel with this one and couldn’t be more happy. It was easy to secure and it’s low profile face doesn’t make it stand out. I didn’t even paint it because it looks so professional without out. I will definitely use Oatley in the future.

It was simple to install, just the right size and will be easy to remove if other problems occur with the plumbing. Thanks, Oatey for making an attractive, inexpensive way to repair a hole in the drywall.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to go with this size access panel for a specific plumbing area that we would possibly need to get to in the future. Instead of having to remove an entire wall panel, we are able to just use this access panel to get to the area we may need to work on. Easy to pop open, constructed of excellent quality hard plastic, I would definitely recommend this access panel and the size of it for those larger areas one may need to get to.
