This velvety infusion combines black pu∙erh tea and organic cocoa. Accented by sweet orange peel, this decadent blend is rounded off with nutmeg and cinnamon for a spicy finish. Puerh is an ancient healing tea known for its medicinal properties and rich taste. Numi's Organic Pu∙erh comes from 500-year-old, wild tea trees grown in China's Yunnan mountains. Unlike traditional teas that are oxidized over an 8-hour period, pu∙erh undergoes a unique 60-day fermentation process resulting in a bold, earthy flavor with hints of malt. My new favorite tea!
If I made a chocolate tea, I would design it EXACTLY like this one. I have tried many a "chocolate" tea, and none of them have gotten it right until Numi. It's smoothe and velvety, with notes of gingerbread from the addition of nutmeg and orange peel (very subtle, you won't know it's orange unless you read it)!

Unusual flavor
I have tried the Breakfast blend of this tea & loved it so I thought I would give this one a try. When I saw 'Chocolate' I thought it has to be good...Unfortunately, it doesn't taste like chocolate at all & has an unusual flavor.
