Moldy smell
So disappointed in this item. The look of it is nice— the smell is horrific. It smells of mold and after days of sitting in my child’s room, I had to remove it. My entire upstairs smells bad now. This was a Christmas present to my boys. They wanted to sit on it, read and play on it, but no one can get past the smell even after I tried scrubbing it out.

Let It Sit: Allow the baking soda to sit for several hours, or even overnight if possible. This will give it time to absorb any odors trapped in the fibers of the rug. Keep the Area Clear: During this time, it's important to keep pets and children away from the treated area to ensure safety and effectiveness. Vacuum: After the baking soda has had time to work, vacuum it up thoroughly. Be sure to monitor your vacuum cleaner bag or canister, as baking soda can fill it quickly. It's not your typical heavy rug; this one is easy to carry and move, and it's also easy to clean,just a quick vacuum is all it takes to get it clean. It feels comfortable and looks beautiful.
