I’ve made salsa in it and tonight I made myself a smoothie with banana fudge ice cream, milk, half a banana and a few maraschino cherries! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Ninja Blend Boss for a few weeks now, and overall, I’m really happy with it. It works exactly the way it promises: blend, pop off the base, add the drinking lid, and go. No transferring to another cup, no extra dishes — which is a huge win for busy mornings. The blending performance is genuinely impressive for a compact system. The preset modes (Blend, Smoothie, Ice Crush, and Pulse) are intuitive and actually make a difference depending on what you’re mixing. I’ve thrown leafy greens, frozen fruit, and nut butter into it, and it handles everything without a problem. What really sets this apart from similar bullet-style blenders is the design. The cup feels trendy, reusable, and surprisingly durable — something you’d actually want to carry around, not hide in the fridge or tote bag. My one complaint is the lid setup. It only comes with a sip-style top, which works — but I wish it also included a screw-on spout cap or a more secure button lid. I haven’t dropped it (yet), but it definitely feels like that could get messy. Having a leak-proof option would make this truly portable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ninja Blend Boss Tumbler Blender with 26oz travel tumbler makes blending, smoothing and ice crushing fun and easy. The motor has suction cups to ensure it stays put while on. Fill your cup, secure and flip to start. The auto-iQ buttons ensure blending and pausing happen on their own which means there’s no guesswork or checking to see if it’s done or still chunky. The lights illuminate the turn off when complete. Put your lid on (threads both left and right handed) and you are good to go! The cup itself is lightweight and the watermelon bubblegum is a great color combo that you can still see through when filled. The bright green color is even a nod to my very first Ninja blender that I received 13 years ago-it still works great! Cleanup is a breeze and it fits better in my cupboard than a standard blender. I only wish it had a removable cap for a straw insert. Other than that, I’m excited to try more smoothies and drinks!

I made a berry banana smoothie with a ton of ice and it was literally done in a minute. And i mean with perfectly blended/smooth ice, not a chunky drink. I’m so excited to use this as the weather gets warmer to make cold drinks on the go. Maintenance seems easy enough and I did not experience any leaks or anything. Love it! Highly recommend! Hope to see solo jugs available to purchase soon!!

I love that I can just take the tumbler with me, instead of having to transfer to something else. Less dishes to wash-HALLELUJAH! And it doesn’t leak all over me! It’s a win!

I love the avocado green and light pink colors, since the combo is preppy, a little retro, and very Palm Beach. The size is great for me because it's enough for me to make a big smoothie for myself or to share with my son. The automated settings work great, and I was impressed with how powerful this is and how smoothly it blends. It's easy to clean, and I appreciate that the tumbler, lid and blade are dishwasher safe. The one drawback with this is the lid with the large chug spout. I find this difficult to drink from and pour out of, so I won't be taking this on the go right now. I'm hoping to be able to find a straw or different lid for it.

Suction cups right to the counter so the base is stable. Simple to clean. The noise level of this product isn’t too loud but it’s a blender so it depends on what you’re making or using it for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Vitamix blender for the past 12 years that I have used almost daily. This helps set the standard for what I'm comparing this blender too. Our family makes smoothies almost every single day and uses our blender for other things like soups, dips, protein drinks, etc. we are a family of six and so we tend to make things in large batches, however, I was curious about the single serve blender because there are times where I take something to work and thought this might be a good tool for pulling that off. The blender did a good job when I thought through what was actually going to happen. Let me explain. With my typical blender I just throw everything in turn it on and we're good to go. But with this single serve ninja I had to be very conscious about how I was going to actually blend because of the important fact that you tip the tumbler upside down for things to blend. As an example, I made a protein shake where I dumped the protein powder in the bottom of the tumbler and then poured milk on top. Top. Mistake, because when I put on the blending top and then tipped it over the blades are now on the bottom but all of the stuff I wanted to blend was at the top. The milk came down however a lot of the protein powder got stuck at the top and there was no way for it to get down without taking off the tumbler shaking it around a little bit then trying again. I ran into the same problem yet slightly different when making a smoothie. We tend to use frozen fruit with our smoothie and what I did was I poured in kefir, then added all of my frozen fruits and coconut oil. But again, because this blender has you tip it upside down to blend a lot of the stuff got stuck and there was no way to get it down to the blades. I would have to take the tumbler off shake things down a little bit use a fork to get things unstuck and then blend again. Order of operations with this blender and thinking through what's going to happen is important. You can't just throw everything in and expect it to do well, unless you're blending only liquids that flow easily. We want to be able to just throw everything in turn it on and it blends everything and this is just not that blender. All that being said, when the blender works it works. Switching to the drinking top. It stayed liquid tight and I never had any leaks. Everything was really easy to clean and it's nice that you could just throw it in the dishwasher. One last thing that is both a pro and a con are the suction cups on the bottom. It's great during blending but it just makes it hard to move the base around if you want to pull it out from underneath your cabinet blend and then push it back under the cabinet for storage. The suction cups had a lot of sticking power and I just worry over time they are going to break. Overall, it's actually a really good blender, it's just not the blender for how our family uses blenders.
