[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm typically very fond of Nexxus products but sadly, I wasn't a big fan of this entire Amino Bond system. It seemed to have left my natural, very bouncy hair, flat and lifeless. The shampoo didn't suds up at all, which I understand why considering the lack of sulfates, but it also didn't leave my hair feeling clean at all. I had to use an excessive amount of shampoo to make it feel like I was washing my hair at all. The conditioner didn't feel very nourishing and was kind of thin and watery. The Amino Bond treatment did help with frizz and fly-aways a bit when letting my natural curls dry after the shower, but it wasn't anything exceptionally special. The packaging was pretty, easy-to-use simple bottles, and did smell like vanilla cupcakes but overall, I was left kind of disappointed by the whole system.

The conditioner isn’t heavy and makes my hair feel silky soft after just the first use. It didn’t weigh down my hair and was easy to brush through the tangles after massaging it into my hair. I simply love this formula of Nexxus and plan to use it from now on.

This product is very lightweight and doesn't feel like it has made any difference. I've stuck with this product line exclusively for weeks and my hair is actually looking worse then when I started. Yeah, this is going to the trash cause its not worth the hassle.

My hair was actually better when I used a different conditioner with the shampoo than using the whole line together. Smells good but do not feel like it made my hair softer or shiny or elastic

I definitely still need to use a hair mask - I also found it difficult to get the product out of the bottle due to the thicker consistency and longer neck of the shampoo. I’d probably have to store it upside down, which is pretty annoying

The smell isn’t as off putting or heavy as the treatment but still not great. Cloying. The texture is heavy. I also didn’t notice a difference in the condition of my hair when using this trio. A lot of marketing with little pay off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Nexxus amino bond shampoo, conditioner, and intense bond treatment. First off, I love the scent. It’s very pleasant. The shampoo and conditioner squeeze out nicely, and the bone treatment has a pump that works great. I have normal hair and didn’t notice any difference using these products from what I normally use. I like the price of the Nexxus products compared to what I usually use, but probably won’t go out of my way to purchase these.

Like the shampoo, it left my hair feeling heavy on top yet so dull on the ends. I was hoping this line may be a replacement for my holy grail Kerastase but that was not the case. I do this this left my hair feeling similar to how Olaplex did, so if you had luck with that then this might work for you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After Conditioning and cleaning my hair, I used some of this. I have about shoulder length hair, so I put a couple of pumps in my hair and begin to work it through. I didn't feel as though I didn't put enough, so I put another pump and worked it into the areas I feel like I missed. Let sit, then after 3 minutes, I brushed it through. I'm not sure if I put too much, but it made it feel really heavy and dirty compared to just using the shampoo and conditioner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2.5-3 stars. This is the second step of the Amino Bond trio designed to repair and strengthen your hair. For me, this is a good, but not vital step in this system. The overall slip was not as good as I like, and I didn’t feel like this conditioner absorbed fully or easily into my hair. The formulation is really good in that it is free of silicone and sulfates, and it is packed with keratin and protein to repair your hair. However it is also heavily fragranced, more than is necessary. Overall, I like the Amino bond system. But, I personally would do without the conditioner. I would substitute my usual conditioner in its place. For those with severely damaged or over-processed hair, however, they might benefit from keeping this conditioner in their routine.

This conditioner was just ok- the bottle itself didn’t really give any instructions but I left the conditioner in my hair for about 3 minutes during my shower - as I do all of my conditioners. I prefer a substantial amount of slip in my conditioner and this didn’t have it. It felt like it sat on top of my hair and didn’t get absorbed- no matter how hard I tried. I have naturally frizzy hair and so a good conditioner is an important step in my hair care routine. Would not re-purchase.

I really like the scent of it and my hair stays smelling good for days. The conditioner in this set doesn’t feel as “conditioned” when I applied it to my hair in the shower. You know, the slippery feeling. So I end up having to use more products than usual. After a few minutes, I rinse them off, the hair felt okay, I’m not impressed with the conditioner.
