A: They are 100mg per capsule. They recommend 2 capsules per day. So 200 mg total.

A: Magnesium stearate is not the source of magnesium, it is an added ingredient used in the making of the capsules. Magnesium glycinate (bisglycinate) is listed as the source of magnesium.

I’ve been taking this magnesium glycinate daily and have noticed a calming effect that helps my sleep and overall relaxation. Major cramps
Do not buy these. I’ve taken different brands of magnesium glycinate for years. I got these in a pinch and WOW my stomach was upset, cramping for the few days I took them. Like clockwork. I stopped one day and got the brand I was using before - no cramps. Everyone’s different but they gave me pain similar to gallbladder attacks but less intense. Not worth it

Tastes of Mildew

Capsules Too Big
I like them I think they work well but they’re hard to swallow even when I drink a full bottle of water with them. I’ve ended up burping up the dust many times.

Severe Cramping
I was having cramping in groin area. The first time it happened I truly wondered if I was going to die, the pain would not let up and so severe that twice I passed out trying to walk it out. My daughter told me to take Magnesium. I started taking your Magnesium and after about three weeks or so I realized I was not cramping and sleeping better. A few days after I ran out of product, I started to get some minor cramping. I have not run out since and won’t. Very thankful for your product.

Reformulated?
A long time user of this product. I had switched brands over the past few months and decided to resume Nature Made. I took it without much thought but instantly got a taste and smell like it was musty or mildew like. The next morning was unpleasant with additional trips to the bathroom. This is very different than my past experiences with this product. Has it been reformulated?

good for sleep
One capsule is 100 mg. I started with two capsules for a month but even the first few days my sleep improved. I take just one before bed now and my sleep has consistently been much better. Studies show it also helps to lower your blood pressure but the improvement in my BP is more from my improved sleep than a direct effect at this dose. I am an advanced healthcare practitioner and I recommend Mg glycinate to all my patients who have difficulty with sleep onset and maintenance.

Misleading reviews about capsule size?
I don’t understand all the negative reviews about the capsule size. They’re no bigger than other supplements I take. I believe these would be the same as a size 000. I measured them and they’re 2.5cm long. Not small, but certainly not huge. I certainly have no problem swallowing them, even with my esophageal stricture. It makes me wonder if the negative reviews are not fake, perhaps by competitors? I’m just starting on my 2nd month taking magnesium glycinate. I noticed a difference immediately in my sleep quality. I take them at night and they’re great for relaxing you. I feel less stressed in general now. I mainly started taking it bc the glycinate form is supposed to also help with brain fog, and I’m definitely beginning to notice more mental clarity this month. I’ve made a few other changes along with it, so I can’t say for certain it’s just the magnesium glycinate. But it certainly seems to be helping. I was very glad to find that NatureMade carries this. I always look to this company for the supplement I want FIRST. It’s hard to find a supplement brand that is both reputable AND affordable!

Ok. This review isn’t about the vitamins per se It’s about the fact that the bottle I picked up was actually tampered with. The horror and disappointing gasped in anger was Oscar worthy. I’m returning it asap
