Mustela Baby Skin Freshener - 6.76 fl oz

The fragrance is completely overwhelming, I put it on my baby’s hair and I ended up getting a headache from it so I can only imagine how terrible my baby might have felt. It took two baths/hair washes to get rid of the smell. The hold is good but the fragrance makes this product unusable for us.

The scent has changed and it’s so bad! I have been using this since 2021 and I just opened a new one and the scent is awful! It use to smell sooo good and refreshing. Had to return and now on the hunt for a new styling spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The formula or scent for this product changed. I had used it for 4 years on my daughter and I LOVED the scent. The 2 bottles I just bought are not the same and I couldn’t stand the new smell. Sadly, they were returned.

I will say my baby’s hair never looked better when I used this. It truly tamed her little flyaways. However, the smell was SO strong. It lingered on my baby’s head. I washed her hair in the sink, and the smell was still there. I think it is going to take a really thorough washing for it to fully go away.

This is the only product I’ve found like it! I’ve been using it on my 3 year old since she was just barely 6 months old. It is so refreshing on the skin. It has a mild scent (which may seem strong at first if you’re using unscented -everything else- for babe) but only lingers long enough to develop nostalgia. We’ve incorporated this equally both directions over the years. Using as a skin freshener during wardrobe changes as well as anytime we’re “doing” hair. It makes your skin reset to feeling like it’s 75 degrees with 5% humidity outside and provides your hair with a mist of water mixed with a detangler mixed with hairspray - that leaves no trace. Well done, Mustela!

I use this more as a body spray for my baby. The smell is wonderful. She likes to be sprayed and laughs when I do it. I don't use it much on her hair as it makes it a little crunchy. I also spray it on her clothes. She's never had a reaction and I'm telling you the smell is AMAZING.

This smells good and clean but it is a very strong scent. We can only use 1 spray. So if you have a sensitivity to smells I would not recommend.

Been using this since my oldest was a newborn she is now about to turn 6. I have 3 kids and use it in their hair and it smells great the whole day. Definitely recommend ! Love the fresh smell and it’s not too overwhelming.

Smells good and stays on

This stuff is great for styling our girl’s baby-fine hair in the morning after sleep has made it wild. A little goes s long way. Smells great, too!
