Quality has declined
I bought 8 pair in September, started wearing in mid-October. It is mid-December and already I have had to discard two pair due to holes. Although I used to buy and wear these socks all winter, I can't recommend them now that the quality has decreased so much.

Thinner than expected
Yes, these knee highs are fleece-lined and yes, they are stylish enough to be worn to special occasions under slacks - but they are much thinner than I expected. I was hoping for socks that would keep my feet warm during the cold winter months. These are not those socks.

This is exactly what I have been looking for. Only problem is stitching is outside not inside. 1 long thread that I did not see caused toe to unravel badly. Had to rip rest out and resew the right way.

These fleece-lined knee-high socks are comfortable, fit well, wash well, look good, and last a long time. I hope they come back into stock. I wear the L/XL size. The size choice is part of the secret to the good fit ("one size fits all" never does). I would buy this style in more colors if more were available (khaki tan and denim blue would be my top choices after basic black).

I thought they would be thicker but they are very nice socks.They feel silky on the outside which makes it nice that they don't stick to you pants. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe so socks are true to size.
