Perfect for hunting light

I loaded it on a tripod and attached my iPhone 6s with the mounting hardware provided, then zoomed in the best I could with the scope and used the phone zoom to take a pic of the street sign on the corner of my street. I used my bike computer to measure the sign distance to be 200 yards. I tested it again and took a pic of a bald eagle nest approx 170 yards away. Both pics were with the scope on a tripod and I used a shutter release cable to prevent vibration. I am satisfied with this product.

Fun for walks along the shore and taking video and single shots with iPhone XR
I like that I can use my monopod stick and take this on walks along the shore to snap photos with my iPhone XR. I've been mostly using this for landscape mode shots. In the yard while initially messing around I caught some crocausmia flowers across from my deck and noticed a beautiful humming bird and started clicking.

Absolutely love this! Wife & kids got it for me as an early birthday gift, so that I could use it while we were on vacation in the Driftless Area in Wisconsin. Used it a bit for looking into the distance in the daytime at cows, hawks, scanning the trees on the forest line, etc. The real treat, though, is the night sky. Super simple to use. One-handed, nice and compact, great optics. Attaching a tripod is a piece of cake.

The construction and materials on this are great. The lens gives you a wide view and a great image. I troll in the woods and see an eagles nest I like to stop by and spot them at that time of year. This makes it really easy to just pull up and look and check. Overall, love this monocular.

Adds a whole new dimension to my morning walk!
I have been taking this with me on my morning walk (without a tripod), and am shocked as to how great photos come out with my old iPhone! Once I line up the camera with the viewfinder, I head out to see what wildlife will sit there long enough for me to focus and snap some pics. I can take their picture without getting too close and spooking them.

We live in an area that has lots of birds and backyard creatures. We love to feed them all and watch them. As soon as I received this monocular I set it up on my tripod and got to watching. I didn't have any trouble hooking the smartphone attachment to my iPhone 11 pro with a speck case. It goes on quickly and snaps right onto the monocular. Overall we love this monocular and use it daily (it is sitting in the living room by the window). Great deal!

Powerful and clear!
I was surprised by how powerful the lense is for such a small package! I may prefer binoculars for the comfort of using two eyes and having depth perception, but carrying binoculars of equal power would be at least twice the size and weight, and would be more awkward to carry with the monopod attached. So it's not really fair to compare this to binoculars. Anyway, it's a good product and I feel it was worth the money.

Best purchase this year
Looking for alternative to buying an expensive camera. Didn't know this existed till I did a search for a monocular to hook up to a smart phone. Very sturdy great monocular. I took decent distance photos I would NEVER be able to get with just my phone. Can't wait to go birding tonight after work!!

Excellent for near viewing
Using my phone and my scope, I'm getting great photographs of birds now on my nearby feeders. I use a tripod to steady the image. It's also cool that I can use the screen on my phone to zoom in further on a bird. This is great little scope!
