The bolt down stand is perfect for securing our tv. The tv is in a traffic area. The bolt down stand adds security and safety that wasn’t present leaving the tv on its legs. I only made one modification in installation. Changed out the provided lag bolts for bolt-nut-washer combination.

Worked-out well for my unusual application. I have a TV cabinet furniture with an.opening designed for an old 27" std TV. But also fit a 32" flat screen. I bought a new 43" flat screen which I wanted to mount in the cabinet, and needed to extend outside the front and beyond the side edges of the cabinet front. The MI-854 seemed to be my only option, with a 300mm VESA pattern. The depth, offset from the front of the base worked out perfect! I was hoping for a lower-profile mount relative to the tube base. Too much base showing below the TV, and prevented me from using a top shelf in my cabinet. But still worked out well. I was skeptical about the large lag screws included to attach the base. My TV cabinet is not solid wood, but a quality veneered partical board, as most buy-to-assemble furniture is. I thought I may need to buy standard bolts, washers & nuts; which I was prepared to do. But surprisingly, the base seems very solidly attached with the hardware provided. A shorter tube would have been much better. But overall, I'm pretty happy with the result!

Purchased this to mount a flat panel TV in replacement for the old tube TV in the motorhome. The dimensions didn't exactly work for my application, but we modified by cutting the length and rewelding the vertical tube. Overall, a great product. The only bolt down stand I could find that would get close to what I was trying to achieve. With that said, the mods we did made it turn out perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this as a bolt down stand in a house. It is extremely sturdy, and I would have full faith in it supporting a TV. This thing held quite well in the back of a motorhome that is shaking, bumping and swaying all over the road. I think that would be way more challenging than any in-home application. Plus, I love that I can swivel it to take advantage of viewing angles!!

This was a wonderful option for me and the only one I could find that would allow me to have my tv in my entertainment center. All other bases were too wide/deep. Without this solution I would have had to downsize the tv in my cabinet to make it work. So glad I found this!

Easy assembly - directions complete and easy to understand.

I got very tired of the S......m A..p on my wi-fi.not working with my Samsung Qled. Remedy, succumb to a set top box $ but gain constant picture w/o stlp codes. So, Sony Bravia Oled and 55" in a 50" inch space on the mantle. I measured and told my A/V guys I was ordering this mount, after countless searches. They said it would not work due to the beams in the cathedral ceiling coming in at an angle, see pic! My measurements were spot on and now instead of mounting on the fireplace stone work it fit perfectly on the mantle top. The A/V guys wanted to know where I got it for future reference. They had customers who this would be a perfect fit for specific mounting needs. Thanks for making a mount that fit my specific and not so regular applications. 5***** company and product!

We were looking for a way to keep our tv from tipping over either accidentally or if an earthquake occurred. This was a better solution.

(The other one wouldn't work; they recommended this one, & it works perfectly). Shipping was very quick, parts were well packed, installation & assembly was easy. I had a unique installation. I was removing an old 30" tube TV from the front of my motorhome. And was the old TV ever heavy. It took two grown men to lift it out. I was then left with this big whole in the front cabinet of my motorhome. Most mounts are attach to a wall behind the TV with an arm. I did not have a wall and was not sure how the arm would work supporting a 32" flat panel as I drove down the road. I did have a heavy metal base and this stand mount was about my only option. It ended up working well with some added bracing. What would have been a benefit would be if the bracket that attached to the pole could be adjusted up or down. I had to mount the TV to the mounting bars all the way at the bottom to get it to fit. All in all it worked out great.
