A: Still mentioning max-d must be an error - it comes with the two helper trucks (Dirt Squad): Axel and Scoopz. Way better than just another truck IMO!

Good concept, poor execution
Fun idea, wish it don't come apart quite as easily as it does. Also be aware that the kinectic sand can stain clothes! Brand new Christmas PJ's now have brown mud like stains from anywhere the kinectic sand stuck to the clothes!

Don't buy! Falls apart easily!
As others have mentioned, this falls apart super easily and is very frustrating for kiddos. If you want to ever move it, think again. Of course the kids are going to play a bit rough with it, it’s a monster truck toy. Definitely wish it was one piece instead of a bunch of pieces that don’t even snap together. I wish I would have bought a sensory table instead with kinetic sand. Or even a plastic tub with sand would have been a better and more fun option for my son.

Do not recommend! The walls fall apart constantly. The sand sticks to their clothes and skin and gave both my kids a rash due to irritation. Put them in the tub to get the sand off and it was very difficult even in the bath.

Weird shipping, box damaged
The item was shipped in a box way too large for itself. I am not sure if it's a shipping issue, I never have issues with the local UPS driver, but there was a large gash in the box. I am just happy that the item was fine.

Throw your cash unti a pile of actual dirt instead
You’re better throwing your money into a pile of dirt. Looks really fun from the box, and we were really excited for it, especially for the ramps that we could drive our trucks over. I quickly learned I should check reviews before purchasing toys I am unfamiliar with. Set up the playset, then touch it, and it instantly turns into a pile of parts again. Great for parents who love to fix things 1000 times. I spend more time putting it back together than my kid does being able to play with it. It’s going back to the store, and we’ll be using our sensory table tray instead.

Was very skeptical from reviews. However, upon opening the toy it was nothing like the reviews for me. It’s sturdy ! YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE TO PUSH THE PIECES TOGETHER SO THAT IT CAN HOLD. Sand wasn’t dry & my son is having a really great time with it. Definitely recommended.

Waste of $$
The side walls are flimsy and fall apart as the child is playing with the toy. The sand it came with was old and “stale”. I need to buy fresh kinetic sand for it so I am out another $12 because of this dumb toy

We recommend trying the following: Ensure that you knead the Kinetic Sand for at least 2 minutes to have it return to its proper consistency. It is possible for the Kinetic Sand to feel 'dry' when using for the first time. If you feel that your sand is still not turning to the right consistency after kneading, you may try adding a few drops of water to the sand and kneading again. Awesome Dirt Stadium
This is great and simple. It allows fun play with the kinetic sand and the 2 construction vehicles are awesome too. I added my own 15lbs kinetic sand instead if the one it comes with, not because the one it comes with is worse, but I already had 15lbs of my own. The sale price of $22 was a great price. Will definitely recommend while it's still on sale.

I had my eye on this for a while and finally bought it for my guys birthday. I was so disappointed. It doesn’t hold together well. If you have it on a table and the gentlest child in existence playing it might stay together. I wish I had kept the box so I could have returned it

Disappointed
As indicated by a number of other reviews, the various parts do not stay together. They are constantly coming apart with little effort, resulting in the kinetic sand finding its way out of the arena and us having to stop to put everything back in place. Another thing to note is that the amount of sand included (2lbs.), isn't enough to adequately fill the arena, so we had to purchase some more.

Dont buy!
The pieces do not stay together. I even tried to hot glue them and they still broke apart so the sand doesn’t stay in the arena. Do not buy.

Falls Apart
Was so excited to find a table top monster jam arena, however upon opening it and setting it up we were immediately disappointed. It literally just falls apart. Nothing clicks into place it sits there and falls apart. Never opened the sand because it would just fall through the cracks. Really hoping they come up with a more stable design that clicks into place.

Amazing Set - Negatives Seem Misguided
This is an amazing set! The negative reviews seem to be due to a gap between expectations and what this set actually is. It’s not a bowl to contain kinetic sand. It’s just a prop to assist in imaginative play with the sand. It’s not going to hold together for you to move it around or anything. Your sand is too hard? Yeah mine was too, but this is easily fixed with a fine mist of a small amount of water over the surface of the sand and work it all up in a plastic bag. No, it doesn’t contain enough sand to fill up the arena. It contains enough to have fun with. You can always add more of the “beach sand” kinetic sand. Personally this is just enough for us right now. The floor of the set is the arena and the kinetic sand is a bit of dirt to move around. It’s not meant to be that the kinetic sand is the whole arena floor. These helper trucks are amazing quality and surprisingly articulated. They can tow, scoop, dump, and push. This set is a great value and better at encouraging imaginative play and creativity than most vehicle playsets. It also focuses on a different but also fun aspect of monster jam - when the helper trucks come out to help on the track! I very much recommend this set. It is a great idea and is well executed at a good price point. It is open ended and encourages imagination and creativity.

Not worth it
Overall, this is just disappointing. It’s poorly designed and the pieces don’t stay put together which gets frustrating for my 3 year old. The kinetic sand also has a weird texture that made all of the trucks super sticky. We got it on sale, and even with the two trucks it comes with, it still feels like a rip off. I would not recommend it.
