Description

Monoprice Onix Series Cable is made from premium quality RG-6/U with double copper braid shielding to prevent signal degradation caused by EMI and RFI interference. Featuring a single gold plated female RCA connector on one end and two gold plated RCA male connectors on the other, this cable is ideal for splitting line level RCA audio signals from a CD player, record player, or analog media device to an AV receiver, amplifier, or even for connecting a dual channel LFE subwoofer to a single channel LFE output on an AVR. The plastic cable jacket has been encased within braided nylon, which resists nicks and cuts without reducing cable flexibility. Additionally, the braided jacket gives a premium appearance over that of ordinary plastic jackets. The CL2 rating on this cable indicates that the jacket has been treated so that it complies with fire safety regulations, making it safe for use in or through the walls of residential class buildings. Backed by Monoprice's Lifetime Warranty, Onix Series Digital Coax Cable is the ultimate digital audio cable for home theater installations.

use this cable with the matching 1 foot subwoofer cable for a nice connection to my receiver and it also looks neat.

I purchase an inexpensive RCA y-adapter from a vendor in China that did not work. Your product had sufficient shielding allowing a clear signal. Your product worked.

GREAT CABLING PRODUCT.....!!

RG-6 cable with soldered connections...VERY SOLID.....no stranded-wire here! Cloth sheath makes handling easier than the standard RG-6 cables...very classy! All of Monoprice's cables are top-notch materials and products. We use them exclusively....

Great Y-adapters!

I decided to replace some really old adapters with these. I used these to split my dual sub outputs from my Yamaha avr into four powered subwoofers. A great overall improvement in sound quality. Very satisfied with purchase.

y-adapter fixed issue with subwoofer

The y-adapter seems very sturdy and well made. I had problems with my SVS subwoofer not coming on, or turning off, even when bass was present. Adding the connector allowed me to split the subwoofer cable and input into both its left and right connectors. This has basically fixed the problem I had. Subwoofer comes on now and stay on consistently.

I was looking for quality cables , but at a good reasonable price . Monoprice provide me.juzt what i was looking for ...high quality product good price . Wires provide thick Insulation which avoids that unwanted feedback noise. When near other cables near same frequencies. Highly recommend.

Sturdy Y cable

The cable seems very sturdy and feels like its well made. However, the connector ends just seem to fit no tight. I expect my RCA plugs to have some resistance when being plugged in, especially the first time. These things just slipped on very easily, too easily. I have mentioned this in other reviews of Monoprice AV connectors. The networking stuff seems just fine, its the analog connections that seem really suspect. I am not sure I would purchase this Y adapter again. Maybe that's why I gave it 3 stars. as I might purchase them again.

Works as intended. Easy fits in the midst of other interconnects, easy on, secure fit, twist lock outer barrels, sounds good, looks expensive, so reasonably priced that the cost of shipping is often equal to or more than a single item. Excellent shipping information from Monoprice. Item arrived when promised. What's not to love?
