Q: How should this be administered to exclusively breastfed babies who don’t receive bottles?

A: I've heard from others that it's easiest to put a drop on your nipple before offering to baby at feeding time. Or if your baby takes a pacifier you could put a drop on it before giving to them.

A: Hello, We recommend not administering directly into baby's mouth for safety purposes; If the dropper has contact with baby's saliva, this could contaminate the rest of the product. Also, if the bottle is squeezed too hard, the product may come out quickly and this may startle baby and cause gagging or rejection of the supplement. If you do prefer to administer directly into baby's mouth, please do so with caution.

Great for Growing Bones!

(Look up rickets if you don't believe me 😬) Vitamin D is fat soluble so its especially great that Mommy's Bliss usesed organic coconut oil. We try to get as much sun as we can but for a new baby or in winter (like now) it's too hard to get outside. The bottle is small enough to keep in a convenient place, the lid seals on well, and the dropper is perfect. The taste is barely noticeable so putting a drop on the breast right before a feed or onto a spoon full of puree is no big deal! Love this company for the simplicity of their ingredients and thoughtfulness of their design.

It's an easy, stress-free way to ensure your little one (or you!) is getting the vitamin D they need. I love that they're designed for babies, but honestly, I'd take them myself if they made a bigger dosage per drop(s), because adults need a bit more than baby’s per dose but for the younger ones there’s actually 100+ doses in this tiny little bottle!! This brand of gas drops contains something called medium chain triglycerides which is known to cause gas and discomfort to babies. For months I gave this to my infant and for months I watched him suffer. I thought he had reflux, a dairy allergy, a soy allergy, or colic. Nope. It was these drops. After reading several negative reviews about them, I made the connection. I can’t understand why a company would put an ingredient in something made for newborns that is notorious for causing gas. I hate that the first few months of my baby’s life was upset by something as simple as a vitamin.

I have been giving my child Mommy Bliss Vitamin D since she was born and it’s our go to for drops. It’s easy to dispense as it’s just one measured drop and so simple.
