Two buttons
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the bell, but I thought I would be getting two push buttons for both sides of the door. My dog keeps banging her nose against the door to come in the house.

I use the bell every
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the bell every time I take her outside She has stepped on it twice by mistake It kind of scares her She know what it is for and why I press it But the other confusing part is the bell is on the floor but the noise is coming from the wall outlet The concept is good just isn’t working right now for us

Doggy Door Bells
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is very distinguished with using these push button door bells. I just place them on the floor and he uses them inside to go out and he uses them on the outside to let us know when he is ready to come back in.

Find location that works for your dog
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bell works great. If it were more sensitive to a light nose bop, we’d have been done on day 1. We tried 4-5 locations, finally found one that worked (on floor right in front of the door). It’s not my favorite location but it works for our puppy. All told maybe a week of effort.

My five month old golden
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My five month old golden doodle mini can ring the bell when I tell her to, and then I open the door. However, I’m not sure that she understands that it’s purpose is to open the door and go potty yet. Hopefully In time she will go to bell on her own when she needs to go out.

The doorbell is the best
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doorbell is the best purchase. It took about 20 minutes for my dog to understand how to use it. I highly recommend it!

It’s great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great button! Seems pretty durable so far too. I love that I was able to potty train my puppy using this and I didn’t have to train him to whine or bark! A little hard to push with my pups nose as he was a puppy when we started using the button so he just used his paw instead. As he gets bigger he’s starting to use his nose and it’s the cutest thing! Some of the sounds are a bit strange but there’s plenty of options to choose from so we just picked a doorbell sound because we needed it to be loud as well.

Great product
Best way I have found to train a puppy to ask to go outside. This was a repurchase as the one I have had for almost 4 years is starting to wear out and not always chime. My dogs were a little rough on it as they enjoy pushing the button.

Excellent Customer Service
I recently purchased the Smart Bell for our newest family, Kuro, a cockapoo puppy. He quickly learned how to use the bell to get outside and relieve himself. Unfortunately the chime stopped working so I emailed Mighty Paw to see if there was a quick fix and they responded the same day. They gave me some simple directions to try, but it did not work. They then sent me out a new system and we are up and running again. Thanks! PS Kuro loves the little extra toy they included.

Room for improvement
My dog only uses the paw to hit the bell, however, the bell only works when pressed horizontally, which is fairly difficult for dogs to do; imagine kicking a doorbell at your shoulder height. Sure you can easily kick that bell upwards but to kick it laterally? Thatâ€:tm:s tough. My pup smacks the bell over and over and only 1 out of 10 tries results in activation. Now, in engineering speak here is the solution: have the trigger be sensitive in 180 degrees, like a joystick, AND as a button. Similar to console gaming joy sticks. Itâ€:tm:s decades only technology, even! No need to send me royalties for this idea.

HATES IT!
We have a very smart Lowchen pup and he absolutely hates this thing! While we were training him consistently he peed in the house 5 times in 1 day rather than be shown/asked to ring the bell. Weâ€:tm:ve worked with him periodically for the last 6 months—he knows what itâ€:tm:s for—but he just refuses to use it. Iâ€:tm:m so disappointed ☹ï¸

Couldn't be happier!
My almost four-month-old Bernedoodle puppy learned to use the Smart Bell in less than a day. This tool is so much more effective than hanging a bell on the door and having it ring every time someone goes in or out. She knows this one is just for her. Thanks for creating such a great product!

It just happened!
We got a new puppy and bought these, hoping it would be a great way for her to let us know when she needs to go outside. Been training for 2 weeks. Today, I was in my office and heard the bell go off. There she was, sitting by the front door, waiting to go potty! Best pet product ever.
