Mielle Melon Hydration
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I discovered the Mielle brand I have been a huge fan. I love how the ingredients they use are good for hair health and each collection targets a different aspect that we all want to work on. The packaging is always nice and each collection has the same theme so you can identify the various items . The number one thing I enjoy about this brand is how amazing the products smell . My hair is always left smelling amazing and I’m treating my hair at the same time. This new collection left my hair super hydrated and smelling amazing . If you have not tried Mielle you have no idea what you’re missing!!

Not for my hair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To be honest the smell is very strong . I also feel like it dries up my hair . Wont allow to do any hair styles. It foes leave u shiny but with frizz . I dont think it will help with my breakage.

Great smell

I have always added aloe vera to my shampoo, but when I ran out of my regular shampoo, I remembered I had this bottle. When I opened it, it had the most amazing fruity smell. After drying my hair I noticed it was shiny and vibrant.

It’s smells great, it has a thick lather, and it doesn’t feel extremely stripping despite being a clarifying shampoo BUT, I do feel like it dries out my hair and causes some poof and frizz unless I follow up with conditioner…which is fine, and expected, but I don’t think it’s as “deeply hydrating” as is advertised. So all in all I’d say it’s a pretty average shampoo. It cleans my hair and gets the job done.

Very Moisturizing for My Curls

Mielle Organics Kalahari Melon & Aloe Deep Hydration Shampoo has a beautiful packaging with a vibrant blue/green label and gold/yellow text! It is a nice, rich and moisturizing shampoo. It has a great smell, not overpowering. The suds were on the low side which I like in a shampoo. As you can see from my before picture, my hair was on the dry side and so was my scalp, and I was in need of a good wash. So on my wash day, I used this shampoo and washed my hair two times. The first wash I could tell it was going to be nice to my curly hair. But by the second wash, I was convinced that this will be a shampoo I will use over and over again! My after picture is my hair freshly washed before I used conditioner, just so you could see how moist and hydrated my hair looked. Lovely shampoo for my curls!

After washing my hair, it feels moisturized, nourished and more manageable. It is made with clean ingredients and this helps my hair maintain it’s natural oils. It is gentle with my scalp and doesn’t make it itchy. It doesn’t break my hair but it definitely restores it. Hydrates like no other.

My horse came back to life
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the first application I felt the change - my hair was softer, flexible and without that dryness it had from the middle to the ends. The combination of Kalahari melon and aloe vera really helps to retain hydration without leaving the hair heavy or greasy. In addition, I noticed an improvement in hair strength and much more natural shine, as if I were healthier from the inside. Especially good for dry, curly or battered hair by dye. The aroma is pleasant and subtle. It really fulfills its promise of deep hydration.

Good for hydration and splitting
