Give this game a chance

I highly recommend this game, especially if you like or played any Metroid Prime game. People are too negatively critical of this game. It is a very enjoyable game. I have played nearly all the titles and this is a great addition to the series of games. The problem fans have with it is how it doesn't fit perfectly in what is considered 'canon' for the stories of the games. Nintendo explained this game would be a new off-shoot of the series in order to do something new. The door is opened wider for more in this series with new storylines.

Loving it! I went fresh into the game after a binging of the first three Metroid Primes (again) and I haven't had any major complaints. The third person sections (with the bike) could've used more time but the first person sections feel great! Plays and looks well :)

13 Hr Nintendo Side Project for Christmas

Don't buy this game. It's whole design and gameplay is about 10 years old when they started developing it. It's just about scanning stuff, opening doors, and scanning the right object to open another door. The game world and story is so dated and only 13 hrs or so at best. For the price it is unacceptable.
