A: No you do not. The light is just a rechargeable lightbulb that is fixed to the cone with a magnet. There is literally zero wiring required

submitted byTony - 2 months agoA: I think what’s rechargeable is the remote control for the light. The sconces itself needs to be hardwired in order to receive power. Be aware that if that lightbulb goes out, there is no way to replace it and you will have to replace the entire sconce.

Beautful fixture, but too dim
Really nice looking light, nice metal color, larger than expected and thus substantial looking on the wall. However, and while I realize this is intended to be ambient light especially given the metal shade, the light was so faint, it gave off as much light as a nightlight, truly. So, unfortunately, we are returning.

Larger than expected- ended up returning due to the size but I think it’s still worthy of a good review. Purchased for our upstairs hallway for some mood lighting. I think it is too large to be a hallway mood light (unless you have very wide hallways with no concern for someone banging their head into it). Love that is DOES NOT need to be wired. 5 stars for the right location in your home. 3 different colors (warm, white and super warm).

Nice Looking Sconce
I think it's pretty nice, there wasn't any instructions so it took a minute to figure out how to get the lamp shade to attach to the stand. It turns out the top of the stand unscrews and acts as a screw itself. It's pretty simple, but reading this might save you a few minutes of looking through the box for a screw. The bulb itself is rechargable, and remote controlled and is not a screw-in bulb, so it's pretty neat too. You can even change the color between like white, off-white, and yellow-ish. I like it a lot, the only reason I took of a star is that it's a bit larger than I thought it was.

Love that it doesn't have to be wired and has a rechargeable bulb
This sconce is perfect for my daughter's reading bench in her room. I love that it's wireless, has a rechargeable bulb with a remote so we don't have to worry about wiring it in case we decide to move it somewhere else. The remote has a dinning option, a timer and different bulb colors. I ended up flipping the back bracket so that we can hang it with the light facing down so she can read her books. It did come a little damaged with a small dent but not super noticeable.

High quality - the perfect addition for your space!
This sconce is really great! It's slightly larger than I imagined, but will fit on a bigger wall perfectly. It comes with a magnetic light, so it is stable on the light holder, but can easily be removed to charge it (i.e. you don't have to drill into your wall for electrical!). It has a remote that has several different lighting options, which is perfect to set the exact vibe you'd like for the space. Overall, I'm very happy with it!

Way cooler light than expected!
This can be wall mounted if you want to use the cool sconce part AND you can also detach the magnetic and usb rechargeable light. No need to wire, just secure it how you like and use the remote and enjoy. There are a few basic options but it is all fairly soft colored.
