My daughter loved the cake. A really good product, it is exactly like the pictures. I would definitely order it again or consider purchasing similar products.

Returned this item as I thought it would be good for a 1 year old. It seemed better suited for an older child.

Normally I am thrilled with Melissa and Doug, but this was disappointing. Just poorly made. Pieces weren’t glued on straight, the Velcro doesn’t stick well, uneven wood, things like that. Thankfully not dangerous or anything or I would return it, but even my 7 year old who got this for her birthday commented on the poor quality.

Unable to download pic but the paint job on several pieces of cake is sloppy and incomplete and some of the pieces are not sanded smoothly. Returned it but still like Melissa and Doug toys usually.

Very sturdy. Will stand the test of time with two little ones who just love cooking for their Grandma. Very colorful! Almost look good enough to eat! Item was well wrapped and arrived earlier than expected.

3 year old enjoys this. Played with it all day when first opened. Kept finding something new to do with the pieces.

It is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. Nice size for 3 and 6 year old to handle. I like that is offers problem solving to put together like a puzzle.

Cute piece to use for food play but also as a puzzle. Just get ready to sing happy birthday a whole lot after you purchase this haha.

It’s really pretty and my 5 year old daughter likes it. Although she’s a bit older, I just had another daughter, so I figured she could use it as well once she’s old enough. It’s a cute addition to their play kitchen. She uses it to play pretend birthday parties and picnics with her 7 year old brother (once she is able to convince him to play with her). I feel like there could be room for improvement. The cake cutter is way too thick to actually “cut” the cake and the decorative pieces don’t stick very well. I feel like it’s a bit pricy for the quality.

My niece just turned three and she loved this! She said, “oh wow! It’s a happy birthday set! I love it!”

My granddaughter absolutely LOVES this! We took turns singing happy birthday to each other over and over. My only complaint is the cake server’s edges are too thick. She had a little trouble cutting the pieces apart, but she love it anyway!

My 4 year old was having such a great time playing "happy birthday" at her cousin's house that I decided to get her one for herself. She loves it!

My 2year old granddaughter loved receiving this Christmas gift, and it has kept her busy for days so far. Her mom felt the paint on some of the interior edges wasn't up to the usual quality of Melissa and Doug, but we are hoping that being toward the inside it will be fine. For the price, I think it has great detail, sturdiness, and fun.

It was a Christmas present for my granddaughter and she loves it! She has birthday parties for her Paw Patrol pups & sings Happy Birthday to them. Great for kids of all ages! Excellence value, this set will last a long time!
